This company is fraud and misrepresenting information ! They have me sign up for a credit card and told me specifically I have 18months to pay it off without paying any interest. Then they changed their contract to 12 months without informing me about the change not by mail nor email or even a phone call . So they started charging me interest. I spoke to customer service about how nobody communicated with me and how could they just change their contract and being so unfair. Be aware of this company . They try to charge you however they can . I am now so frustrated and upset because of all the unnecessary interest charges that I had to pay and they don’t accept absolutely no responsibilities. They just said it was in the fine prints that allow them to change it anytime! Where is the communication when this could impact the individual greatly ? I am now So disappointed.and upset and frustrated . I hope somebody hear me and be able to do something about it .

Thank you for allowing Universal Account Servicing, LLC (UAS) to address this matter. By way of background, Ms. T******* entered into a Retail Installment Credit Agreement on February 24, 2023 to purchase services from LaserAway Medical Group, Inc. Subsequently, a purchase (or charge) to that line of credit was made. That purchase was eligible for a promotional offering where no interest would be charged if the amount financed for that purchase was paid in full within 12 months. If the amount financed was not paid in full within 12 months, interest would be charged from the date of delivery at 21.99%. These details were disclosed to Ms. T******* in the Charge Slip she was required to executed. Please note, Ms. T******* digitally executed the one-page Charge Slip with two sets of initials and her signature, so three times in total. Further, Ms. T******* received paper and electronic billing statements each month that included similar disclosures. These statements also detailed her promotional period expiration date of 2/25/2024 and disclosed Total Deferred Interest Charges that would be charged to her Account if she did not meet the terms of her promotional offering. Ms. T******* did not pay the amount financed for her purchase within 12 months, and all deferred interest was charged to her Account, as was disclosed to her on her Charge Slip and monthly billing statements.

As such, UAS believes it followed standard business procedures as it relates to this matter.

This company contacted me directly after I purchased a diffuser and oils from the Hotel Collection. With in minutes of making my purchase Abby with UAS contacted me, offering me to be in the Hotel Collection VIP oil club. At no time did she say she worked for a 3rd party company. She told me I would receive a feee diffuser, and half off the oils I would need. She explained that I would be able to change the oils I wanted to receive by contacting them directly or through the portal. When trying to reach Abby, I never received a call back. And you can’t shop oils on the portal. I was never explained that anything would be going on my credit for this “VIP” service. Now the company is claiming it owe $2000 for a machine I had purchased for $500.
    It’s absolutely disgusting.

I unknowingly incurred a late fee of $10 near the end of my monthly payments (they were not automatic, so I must have messed up somewhere- fine) But I didn't realize until a month or so later (because I thought I was paid off and done) and by then they had charged me ANOTHER LATE FEE on my original late fee..... wtf?
Then when I asked them to remove that last fee, they said they'll go ahead and not charge me the "$11 convenience" fee.....
So I still have to pay both late fees!! That doesn't help me at all. You can't just make up an arbitrary fee for fun and then act like you're helping me by taking it away lmao. Why do you need to charge a convenience fee in the first plaxce? For what? For accepting my late fees? Do you want the late fees paid or not??? It makes zero sense. Money Hungry.

I obtained a $5,000 credit line at 24 months 0% interest. I began $209/month auto-withdrawal payments from July 2020 through June 2022 completing the $5,000 payment prior to the promotional period ending. I was charged incorrectly through auto-pay from July 2022 through Dec. 2022 for the amount of $1,088.73.I opened a ticket in April 2023 - I had no one contact me and it was closed. I have now called 4 separate times- been transferred continuously- been told someone will call me back - no one has called back. Most recently I have been told since my account is closed there is nothing they can do. Was given another number that only has a voicemail set up with no one calling me back. I am strongly considering pursuing legal action.

Thank you for allowing Universal Account Servicing, LLC (“UAS”) to assist with this issue.
For introductory purposes, Universal Account Servicing, LLC (“UAS”) is located in Parkville, MO and operates as a third-party billing service provider for this Account.

By way of background, the consumer entered into a Retail Installment Credit Agreement (the “Agreement”) on June 8, 2020, to purchase services from SMDO Derm, PLLC (dba LaserAway TX) (“Laser Away”). Subsequently, a purchase (or charge) to that line of credit was made on June 8, 2020. Per the terms of the Agreement and executed Charge Slip, in order to maintain the Promotional Offering, the amount financed was required to be paid off before the Promo Expiration Date. As noted on the Charge Slip under the “NOTICE – SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL FINANCING OFFER” section, “You understand that this is a Special Promotional Financing Offer in which interest is DEFERRED for the promotional period. Failure to pay the amount financed for this purchase by the end of the promotional period will result in interest charged from the delivery date being applied to your account balance. This IS NOT a No-Interest Purchase. MINIMUM MONTHLY PAYMENTS ARE REQUIRED.”

Details regarding the requirements of this Promotional Offering and the total amounts of deferred interest were disclosed to the consumer on her monthly billing statements, including notice that her Promotion Expiration Date and payment due date may not align, “*PROMOTION PLAN NOTICE: Your promotion plan(s) expiration date(s) may differ from your payment due date. To avoid Total Deferred Interest charges, pay your Minimum Payments Due on-time each month and your Balance Subject to Deferred Interest by the promotion expiration date.”

The consumer did not pay off her account balance by the Promo Expiration Date of May 29, 2022. She therefore did not meet the terms of her Promotional Offering; thus, all deferred interest was then assessed to her Account. Considering the above information, we believe UAS followed its standard business procedures in the above matter.

I was coerced by the Lasik surgeon to use this financing company with no interest. What a bunch of lies!!!! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They use predatory tactics to snare poor, desperate people into their business. Terrible is putting it mildly.

Thank you for allowing Universal Account Servicing, LLC (UAS) to assist with this issue. UAS is a third-party billing service provider located in *********, **. ****************** does not appear to be an authorized user on the ******************** referenced in this BBB review; however, we believe we have located the Account in question. Upon review, the Retail Installment Credit Agreement and Charge Slip that were executed to make this purchase disclosed an APR amount to which the Account would be subject and specified the purchase did not qualify for a special promotional financing offer. Additionally, since November 2020 this Account has been receiving monthly billing statements where interest charges were disclosed. As such, UAS has no evidence that ****************** was under the impression that the Account would have no interest.

Returned both ******************** diffusers within 3 days of receiving them and then attempted to cancel the oil subscription set up through this UAS LLC company who said they were affiliated with ***************************** They refuse to cancel it even though I've requested it in writing multiple times AND the Hotel Collection shows they've canceled my account on their end and received the diffusers back in their office and I've not received (nor do I want or need) any oils. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Egregious and deceitful business practices, abysmal customer service. Can't believe they've been able to get away with this type of behavior and are still in business.

Thank you for allowing Universal Account Servicing (UAS) to assist with your issue. UAS is not affiliated with Hotel Collection, but is a third-party billing service provider located in *********, **. Upon review Hotel Collection confirmed they cancelled your Account and that a refund of any payments made toward your Account should be issued. As such, UAS has closed your Account and issued the refund. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.

Thank you for allowing Universal Account Servicing, LLC (UAS) to assist with your concern. It is UAS's standard practice to require minimum monthly payments be paid on time each month to maintain the eligibility of your promotional offering. This is detailed on page 2 of the Retail Installment Credit Agreement, the Charge Slip you executed for this purchase on 09/29/2021 and on monthly billing statements you received electronically while your promotional offering was active. You missed your payment due 9/15/2022. As such, your promotional offering was terminated and deferred interest that accrued from the delivery date of your purchase was assessed to your account, per the terms of your Agreement.
