              The date was 7-27-23 and 7-28-23 I had damage to my roof that the insurance company deemed damage by wind. We paid Abernathy Roofing over 23 thousand dollars to roof our home which consisted of correctly re roofing our home. They did not finish the job, we have work that has been half done and then they told me they were charging a covid fee and travel fee. I have work half completed and not correct in many areas.

              This Company does very bad work. In January 2019 they roofed the house I was buying. The roof was to be guaranteed for 20 years. All paperwork was submitted and I was told it was guaranteed before signing final paperwork on house. As I began to remodel I found the roof had been leaking for a long time even after I bought the house. One wall had to be totally replaced, also flooring and underneath studs. I had another roofing Company come and do an inspection and was told Abernathy had roofed over rotten wood and part of the valleys were not properly roofed letting water run down the wall and destroying the back wall of the house. Now Abernathy says they never guaranteed their roofing job and will not repair any of the damage. It will now cost me thousands of dollars to properly repair and replace their work. Don't expect this Company to do anything but grab your money and run.
