Horrible ***************** Do not go with this company. They tell you one price on the phone and double the price when they get to your home.

I'm not sure what transpired with your appointment and apologize if it was not what you expected. I assure you estimates are never given over the phone for this and many reasons that cannot be determined without physical eyes on each system. Any costs discussed or indication of such, would have been the published nation average according to www.NADCA.com (National Air Duct Cleaning Association, the authority in this industry). All costs are home specific; therefore, done on-site with certified technicians using negative pressure technology for the cleaning. I had a scheduled appointment for 6/29/24 between the hours of 11a-2p. I received a call at 1:06p stating that the appointment time would be closer to 2p. My response was that is fine, thank you for letting us know. At 2:26p (after 2p) I missed a call. I returned the call in what I considered in a timely fashion at 2:29p to be informed that the company was having vehicle issues and were going to shut down for the day, so therefore I would need to reschedule. With no apologize, discount offer for the inconvenience considering the time frame given and the time I was notified the company would need to reschedule. If this is how you do business, I do not want you servicing my home to take my trash to the trash can. Thank you but no thanks. Take negative reviews for what it's worth because I could be doing more productive things than down grading a business as I have one myself. The person on the phone provided us an estimate of around $400. When they arrived, the estimate became $1200. I would expect any company to provide a closer estimate of the cost of their services. They need a better process upfront so consumers have appropriate expectations of the work. Asking more questions when someone asks about the costs would of prevented the hassle we had to deal with this morning. If this is how the company operates (low ball estimates), then I would not do business with them.SafeAir Duct Care Response

If you want the BEST and friendliest this is the company to call for your vent cleaning!! They came in and did their job and cleaned up any messes. They were GREAT! I got their name from BBB. A technician arrived to my home and asked me how did I hear about their company. I said, "from a flyer in the mail." He asked me to provide the flyer. I said, "Give me a minute to find the flyer." He then asked me, "Why did you call us?" I said, "I would like to get an estimate on cleaning my airducts". He asked me, "Are you planning to get thevwork done today?" I said, " I would like an estimate." He said, "If you are not planning to get the work done today, we have a special team to do that! I won't be able to do an estimate" He left. I called the *************** and the representative got belligerent on the phone. Instead of her asking me would I like the "special team" to come out to give me an estimate, she started going into they don't come out to do estimates because gas is too high and the tech's time. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told that when the tech comes out, they charge $25 if they don't do the work! This policy was not explained correctly!SafeAir Duct Care Response

Thank you for taking the time to talk with me today, I do wish we could of spoken and cleared this up before hand. It is true we do not send an entire crew out for an estimate only, like the crew that arrived at your home with an appointment set and intention of providing service that day. Please accept our apology for any miscommunication on that. Your team was very informative of what they were going to do and showed us before and after pictures of our ducts. They were very polite and focused on their work. They found mold inside of our furnace door plate and explained how to treat it in the future. So glad they found it before it got out of hand. They did wear protective covers on their feet. They kept me updated on time of arrival. They wore shoe coverings in my home, which I appreciated. They explained to me what they were doing. They took before and after pictures and yes, there was a great difference. Most of all, ******* and **** are two very young men, who were very polite, courteous and personable.
