Roofer did not instill cap and ridge..used Hip and ridge and architectural field is wrong material does not match and the shilgles that that cut from 3-1 are now pealing away from the rear of the Center.Business response

We have been in contact with the church. This roof was built 1.5 years ago and the complaint is not about the material we used, we put ridge cap over every ridge, it is about the color. I personally went out to inspect the roof and I do agree that the color is off but did not find any problems with the ridge cap coming off, my issue is, I cannot go back to the manufacturer because it has been too long to fix the color. Having said that we have reached out to the church to try and come up with an equitable solution for this beautiful church.Customer response

10/13/2022: Mediator requested workmanship warranty information from the consumer.

10/31/2022: I am so sorry, we have been working out of town. We have been in contact with the Reverend, we are going to replace all of the ridge cap, I am waiting for the material to come so we can proceed ( I am guessing it to be this week).Customer response

I filed a complaint that was not settled. The contractor did not correct the problems that was identified in the original filling. They submitted something to BBB but what was submitted was not in the complaint or it was partial addressed. I hope that we can get this issue resolved within the framework of the BBB. You all closed the case without verifying if the work had in fact been done. I received a call from M&M that they were going to come out and address ALL the issues... they never got in touch with me to schedule a time to meet with them. They never addressed the issues that are spelled out in the contract. The r Roofer did not install cap and ridge..used Hip and ridge and architectural field is wrong material does not match according to the contract. Can you refer us to anther source that might help us resolve theses concerns. This was brought to M&M attention when they first completed the work and they have managed to push and delay repairing the roof. If there is nothing else that BBB can do then we may have to go to litigation. Notice the contract says to "Ridge Material To Match ". It does not match. On Sept. 29, 2015 I purchased a new roof from M & M Contracting LCC. The total cost for this service was $8,080.73. Approx. 12 months ago i noticed a leak in my dean area. I notified **** ******* President & Vice President ****** ********. ****** ******** came out a few times and checked it and the leak was still there. When i notified them again they said they were out with Covid and they would call and let me know when someone could come out. I continued to call the company and I have not received a returned phone call.Customer response

** ***** is a valued client and a better person. We built the roof about 7 years ago and the design of the roof is difficult because water seems to gather in one spot and seems to be over time causing this leak.
