    Hello, Compost Connection has failed to pick up my yard waste for the past two weeks. At the end of November, I put 47 bags on the curb. They failed to pick up the allotted 5 bags on 11/28 and 12/5. As of this afternoon, I still have 47 bags on the curb. When I called to let them know, they told me my bags had been picked up for the last two weeks. Here is a photo I took this afternoon of 47 bags on my curb.

    BUYER BEWARE!Compost Connection is a PAY UP FRONT - NO REFUNDS company. After you pay, Compost Connection may or may not be willing to pick up your waste at the agreed upon location. Week after week, the driver consistently refused to take my yard waste at the agreed upon location. Compost Connection gets mad when you use your extra bag coupons. I bought a pack of coupons and when I tried to use them, the driver knocked on my door at 6:30 at night to disparage me for putting out more than my two bags. I tried to explain that I paid for coupons for those three extra bags and that the coupons were on the bags like the office said to do.The Compost Connection driver was angry. He was upset about the location the pick up. He was upset that I put out extra bags. He was upset that he could see I had a pile of yard waste to clean up and would have more extra bags next week. Unless you are o.k. with angry men showing up at your door taking you to task for using the services you paid for, Compost Connection is not for you. When I called to cancel my service with Compost Connection, the woman who answered the phone was rude and vulgar. She had her rapid-fire, pre-practiced response of No refunds. Its on our website ready to go. Based on how I have been treated by this company, I imagine she deals with angry customers a lot, but it does not excuse how she treated me. It cost me $145 to learn about how badly Compost Connection treats their customers.Please think twice before you give Compost Connection your money. It is no accident they make you pay up front and do not offer refunds.

    We do not offer refunds and it is clear on our website. Our driver asked her to put her bags out front several weeks in a row. The customer's bags were also over their weight limit and our driver is very familiar with bags that are overweight and can deduce which bags are too heavy. If bags are overweight, our policy states to leave a violation sticker and move on. Instead, our driver went to the door to speak with her, instead of just leaving the items behind with a sticker. This is a kind of courtesy that our drivers will do in certain circumstances. The driver has been here for 30 years and is our OPS Director. When she called the office, I stated our policy and tried to speak with her, but instead I was greeted with loud vulgarity. I tried to explain that we would prefer her bags to be set out in front. We do reserve the right to not speak to people who chose vulgarity over reasoning in my office. We will pick up her yard waste as long as her yard waste is placed out in front of her house and under the weight limit. We do send all new customers our policies. For convenience, we offer the purchase over limit stickers. Over limit was not the issue. The issue was the bags/bundles need to be set out front and need to be under the weight limit of 50 pounds. We have an A+ rating with the BBB and a great ****** rating. Outstanding customer service is our goal. Our ratings do reflect that. Thank you kindly.
