    ****** stated per owner, ****** they were not going to reimburse us for time or materials or new in warranty EGUAGE equipment.

    I once again explained to ****** that installation of outdated equipment under the guise of new is a deceptive business practice and will not be tolerated by me or my wife.

    I once again stated to ****** that SunSmart could have easily done the correct installation but chose not to. I hired an independent company to review SunSmart’s installation, ********, and it was discovered that the EGUAGE equipment was a 2016 model unit installed as new in 2021 at my residence by SunSmart.We requested total reimbursement of that cost, due to SunSmart not answering or returning calls the past 5 months.

    It was further discovered that according to the EGUAGE manufacturer and ********, the unit was improperly installed. I informed ****** we have pictures and testimony to these facts. The equipment was not installed to keep it from arching inside the panel.

    Per ****** F., he had “bad news” and could not authorize repairs or reimbursement. I asked to speak to the SunSmart owner, ****** to resolve immediately. ****** stated that ***** was unavailable. I politely requested to ******,a return phone call from ***** to determine SunSmart’s positive resolution before December 15,2023. ****** stated he would ask ***** to return my call before 12-15-2023.

    I explained to ****** if I did not hear directly from ****** on or before 12-15-23, with a detailed plan for total reimbursement and new warranty EGUAGE equipment installation, we would pursue legal remedies in ********* ****** ******. The part is approximately $900 plus tax plus installation. The reimbursement for 3rd party inspection is $350.00. We would prefer simple SunSmart repair vs small claims.

    SunSmart contacted me and has attempted to replace outdated out of warranty part. It has required several attempts from a third party contractor as SunSmart no longer employs their in house service repair, which should be a red flag for future customers. Who in their right mind will spend over $50K with a company that doesn’t retain their own service department? It has been over 60 days since I filed the BBB complaint and the 3rd party contractor has installed the new EGUAGE meter system, but it is not set up properly yet to give accurate read out of system efficiency. This problem could have been resolved in matter of days, not over 9 months. Honestly, I could not recommend this company after the denial, run around, delay and quite frankly, deceptive service representatives. Buyer beware.

    I contacted Sunsmart Technology on September 14 they said they would be here Friday to work on the control panel the tech man told me to tap on the window after telling him what was wrong and it clicked on so I called him back and told him it’s working the next day it went out I called him again to let him know and his voicemail was full so I called the company and told them the situation and they would relay the message on September 12 I called them and they said they would have a tech man call me and he never did I called back Wednesday the 14th and got the front desk The gentleman set up an appointment for him to come the 23rd I waited around all day he never showed up I called back Monday, 26 September got a hold the lady at the front desk they would relay the message I told him I’d like to talk to the supervisor to call me back no response then I called October 3 the lady was polite at the front desk ask him to call me and no response to this day I spent close to $40,000 on my Solar Pannels and I’m very disappointed in their service about repairing them if you could do something to prompt them to come and help fix the problem I would greatly appreciate it. I purchased them June 10, 2015 I had troubles with them about four years ago and they repaired them and they’re still under warranty and now it happened again if there’s anything you can do I’d appreciate it thank you
