      Ordered a manifold and catalytic converter from AutoZone. Stated it would arrive on Friday, May 30, 2025. Product still claims that until you touch on tracking then says it wont be here till Monday, June 2, 2025. I needed that part and couldve ordered from OReillys and got it Friday, May 30, 2025. I formed a complaint. They only refunded $4.99 shipping. Its false advertising. Its a joke I needed that part today Friday, May 30, 2025.

      Our district manager did talk to the customer.  He placed the order.  The manufacturer caused the delay.  There is nothing else we can do.  This is the best we can do.

      *****************************r seven months and I want some answers. I've spoke to the assistant manager, *****, general manager, ****** and district manager, **** of that Autozone location. ***** and ***** have been fairly helpful to me as far as getting information and contacting people, but other than that, I feel I have been avoided and ignored as far as I see it, in hopes that I just go away and forget about the issue.

      District Manager ********************;spoke to the customer ***** and explained that all warranty work is completed through his repair shop. All claims are filed by the repair shop. This particular shop did not file a claim but replaced his radiator under warranty. We are giving ***** $723.80 back for repairs to the radiator, coolant, transmission filter and flush and labor for the job. I have sent his information to the claims department to issue a customer satisfaction check. I did explain to ***** it would take 7-10 business days to receive.

      Auto Zone IS LYING THEY DID NOT GIVE ME THE AMOUNT I PAID $230 DOLLARS BUT $205 !!!!!!! THE REGIONAL MANAGER ***** WAS SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SAID THE BATTERY WAS FINE AND PUT BACK ON THE ***** LABELED "REFURBISHED!!!!!!!" I COMPLAINED I WANTED THE REST OF MY MONEY AND ***** STILL REFUSED. I CALLED *** IN THE REGIONAL OFFICE BACK AND SAID I SHOULD SPEAK WITH *****. WHAT THEY DID WAS CONSIDER THE SURROUNDING STORES THAT HAD MY SIZE BATTERY AND GAVE ME THAT PRICE.  BUYER BEWARE: AUTO ZONE IS KNOWINGLY SELLING BAD PARTS AND LABELING "REFURBISHED!!!!!!". I WANT ALL OF MY MONEY *** AND ****!!!!!!!!*********************. Even though *** said that was the policy if a customer had an item for 2 months or less and it malfunctioned the customer should get a full refund. So why havent they refunded my $230 dollars. My 1st BBB complaint to AutoZone no one answered on the BBB site. But ******************** did call me but they wont give me my money

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The date that the transmission was returned was Dec 29th, 2023 and have not received any check for payment.   I also did not request a check because I paid them $2424.78 in cash, but a check will be fine if received.  Of that amount I receive $400 of that back for my core charge.   Attached is also written receipt from the associate that received it in.

      The customer was told to bring the part back in to process a return. He would not comply with the request as we cannot refund the product until we actually have the product in hand.  It was explained to him prior to the complaint that the stores do not keep that kind of cash on hand and a check would need to be cut once the product was returned. As of 01/04/2024 the customer has finally brought the part back and a check has been requested for a full refund for the customer.

      I called management and they over paid by $400 (core charge) they said to keep the extra $400 for repair bill.   That was really nice of them.   We are all good and they are good business people.

      I went into this location to purchase a battery; i have been using this store for 30 years It was no good. i brought it back and gave them the old battery. This month I bought another battery and they are charging me $44 when they shouldn&#**;t. Each time I have brought the old battery back. I gave them two old batteries and they shouldn&#**;t charge me for it.

      Spoke to him on 11/14/23, he stated that the issue had already been resolved at the store. His battery was pro-rated and we explained the policy to him. I gave him the number for the Regional Office in case he had any further issues going forward. He thanked me and was satisfied.
