I have a **** ***** Millenia S that wouldnt start while leaving work on 10/18/2022. I got it towed directly to Import Car Repair. On 10/25 I asked them could they include a quote for brakes when they diagnose the car. I had an appointment set for 10/26. When 10/26 came I didnt receive any updates on the car. Gave them a call they didnt answer. Called again on 10/27 and the guy told me that they hadnt gotten to the car yet. 10/28 comes and we had to call them for them to let me know that I needed a battery and starter but they couldnt check anything else because the battery wouldnt stay charged long enough. I continued to call and they told me they had to order the starter. They made me pay half upfront to even get started on the car because they said my mom had a car there that hadnt been picked up yet. My mom called almost every other day for updates but they wouldnt tell us anything besides they were waiting for parts. I called on 11/10 and they told me that the starter came the day before but they still hadnt started servicing it yet because they were still understaffed. On 11/23 they called and told me I didnt need brakes but I was sure I needed brakes because I hadnt put any on the car since I got it on 02/14/2021. I called them and asked if they could check again and if they were all good check the rotors because something wasnt right. They said they would look at it on 11/28 but when I called on 11/29 they hadnt gotten to it yet. The car I was using ended up breaking down also so I figured since they told me I didnt need brakes the first time I could just go get the car. Got there on 11/30 paid the rest of the amount in full to get the car out. I didnt even make it off of the street before my cars TCS system malfunctioned and made the car start dragging. I called them to ask what may have happened the worker basically said it didnt start when we got it it starts now were done. Im sure they did something wrong It wasnt like that before.Initial Complaint

Paid 1,385.72 on 3/9/21 resulting from an auto tune up to correct problems with check engine light repeatedly coming on for a 2008 Mazda Tribute. Around 3/17 the check engine light came on and was advised by Import Car Report to continue driving the car even though the light was on. On 3/30 the car ran poorly; would not go more than 20-30 mph. Returned the car to the shop around 3/30/21 and it has been their ever since. Checked with the shop weekly and was always given excuses as to why the car had not been repaired. At one point I made a visit and the car was missing one wheel on the driver's passenger side. Was informed they had a break-in, and the tire was replaced. On 11/15/21 returned to the shop and shared I wanted to record our conversation for my records and the shop owner stated that he would not repair the car - stating "I'm done". I have the recording of the conversation and I have a picture when the tire was missing. All information is on my cell phone.. For a total of 8 months I have not had use of my car.
