      On 4/7/23 I bought a car from Brown's Auto Sales for $18,900. I was told it had water damage, so I test drove it as well as looked it over and it seemed fine. Later that day I noticed it had an engine nock, and I had a mechanic put new exhaust on it. The mechanic also told me the car had been in a wreck and that I shouldn't drive the car because the motor was going to break down and blow up. I also entered the numbers for the car on ****** and it showed it had 40 different problems with the car. I reached out to Brown's Auto Sales to see how they can assist me in resolving the issue. The first time I called I was told the manager would get back to me but no one has reached out. I've tried calling again and they won't answer my calls.

      On 04/05/2023 customer Mr. ********* purchased a 2017 Ford Mustang VIN: ****************** for $18,900. The customer test drove the vehicle and was satisfied with the vehicle. Brown Auto Sales informed him it did have water damage and was a total loss vehicle being sold AS-IS with No warranty. We did offer a warranty he could purchase at an additional price, but he declined to purchase the warranty. Customer also signed a paper stating he was declining the warranty and also initialed the Bill Of Sale again declining warranty. On 04/07/2023 Brown Auto called customer telling him we were FedExing him the title and needed him to sign a paper and send back to us. The customer told us that was no problem and loved the car he would send the paper back to us in the self addresed stamped envelope we sent to him with the title through FedEx on 04/07/2023. No issues nor problems were discussed with customer on 04/07/2023 @12:00pm. After 5 days of Mr. ********* having said Mustang in his possession, Mr. ********* called Brown Auto Sales saying the motor knocked and he was contacting his attorney and the Better Business Bureau. I feel that until the point of sale the customer was satisfied with the condition of the car and the price. I, Thomas Brown, owner of Brown Auto Sales feel there was no wrong doing at the time of sale on the 2017 Ford Mustang. The customer felt the Mustang was in good working order to purchase, after the customer took it on a lengthy test drive. Brown Auto Sales told the customer this vehicle is sold as is as we tell all customers.
