In January 2024, I purchased an auto protection for my car and they sent me a booklet and cards in case there is damage I can use it. My 02 sensor went out on my car and I noticed that I needed to use the auto protection. I was then informed that the company was not real according to the reviews after I discovered they were giving me such a hard Time to speak with the claims department. In fact, the service company who repaired my car informed me that they had submitted a claim through an AI bot for repair. At that moment I knew that things did not seem accurate for me so I took further caution to do more research.Business Response

Customer purchased a Headstart Warranty Group policy from us
on 01/22/2024. On 10/02/2024, the
customer had the repair facility call Headstart Warranty Group to file a claim. On that same day of 10/02/2024, Headstart
Warranty Group claims department responded the claim was denied due to “Oxygen
Sensor is a non-covered part per customer’s contract”.We apologize that the customer had a bad experience
regarding use of their plan, however the claim was successfully filed and
denied the same day, due to being a non-covered part per the vehicle service
contract that was purchased. We understand having a denied claim is disappointing,
but vehicle service contracts will not pay for non-covered items.Headstart Warranty Group is in fact a real company that has
real human being employees and simply uses an artificial intelligence phone
system to help facilitate call volume when initially filing a claim which in
this particular case, the customer’s repair facility successfully filed upon
the initial call. All claims are
reviewed and adjudicated by professional human beings.If customer wishes to cancel, please follow the cancellation procedures stated in your purchased agreement or call our customer service team at 1-855-703-7518 Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm CST.

This company mailed me very scam looking mail that said I immediately needed to set up my coverage. It looked so real and I worry people will fall for this scam. We get unsolicited letters marked "FINAL NOTICE' and "Our records indicate that you have not contacted us..." regarding a vehicle service contract from Reliable Auto Protection. This is obviously a scam, and this business is not BBB registered. These are annoying letters made to look official. PLEASE STOP mailing these letters to unsuspecting victims.Business Response

Direct advertising soon renewal due of vehicle warrant policy. Very vague details matching some information of my renewal data. I called number provided and specifically informed representative of a renewal request with Endurance policy for 5/20/2024. They said they could help., quoted premium charges and terms, but placed with another carrier Reliable auto protection. The billing debit at bank gave telephone as Endurance no flags at that time 5/2/2024 when billing done. Now Ifind my Endurance policy not renewed as requested. They wrote a new policy with another company which I do not want due to company consistent in purchasing coverage. I called today and they denied any fraud on their part. I want down payment back ****** and 1st payment $230.22 back to obtain the renewal policy with the correct company that we intended. I was completely defrauded. Also found out they are located in ******** and a non-resident agent -not allowed to solicit business directly inTEXAS!makes them not working within laws of *****. Advertising is also worded as to mis-lead the insurance purchasing public.Business Response

After reviewing the call when customer setup coverage, we made it clear our company name is Reliable Auto Protection and no mention of the company Endurance ever came up. Not sure how the customer thought she was talking to Endurance, but we do apologize for any confusion. On 06/04/2024 the customer called in to cancel and request a full refund of the $479.22 she paid. On 06/12/2024, Reliable Auto Protection mailed out a 100% refund check in the amount of $479.22 to customer.Customer Answer

In my initial call I told the representation I was reaching out to renew my ENDURANCE RENEWAL of 5/19, asking if he could help me with that. He quoted me a price and collected payment not advising he was placing with another company.
The business has contacted me upon my request to cancel the coverage they placed on my behalf and refunded my payment as requested. I received a check today for full refund. You can now close out complaint since they have refunded my money.***************************
