I purchased a GE cafe kitchen appliance bundle from Lowes 2 years ago (presidents day weekend 2021) with a 5 year warranty. 3 weeks ago my freezer wasnt getting below 32 and the ice maker quit working. I reached out to my lowes warranty and they had me schedule with 1st Millennium to come service the fridge. ***** came on Friday 2/17/23. He looked over the refrigerator, placed a thermometer in the freezer and it read 32 (its set at 0) and noticed that the left side of the fridge wasnt insulated properly and the right side is and said this is an unfixable service and that he would file a report to lowes that afternoon/evening and it would be in their system Monday and to contact them by Wednesday. I contacted them on Wednesday and no report was ever made. I have left him 3 voicemails letting him know the situation and to call me back. He has never called back. I contacted lowes warranty again yesterday (3/1/23) and they said a report still hasnt been filed. Lowes is taking it into their own hands and escalating the claim - as my refrigerator/freezer is now very noisy and the freezer/ice maker isnt able to be usedCustomer response

I strongly do not recommend 1st Millennium to anybody. Thank you for your help in trying to resolve this case.

I have a warranty with this company through Lowe**;s. I started having issues with the refrigerator. 1st Millenium came out and looked at it and said they needed to order parts for it. I haven**;t heard anything since. I call and cannot get any answers.Initial Complaint

I took out a home warranty with ****** **** ********* I started having issues with my refrigerator. Choice Home sent out 1st Choice came out but they didn't fix the issue. They never called me back. They are not operating legally in the city of O'Fallon, MO. I need a document from them that my refrigerator is not repairable and needs to be replaced. The warranty company wants to fix the ice maker, but that's not the problem.Business response

Thank you for contacting 1st Millennium Home Services LLP. Appliance repair is who we are, not what we do.
It is with great pleasure that we respond to complaint #********. On January 3, 2022 we were dispatched a service work order #********* through ****** **** ********. We scheduled the diagnosis appointment on January 6, 2022. At that time, the technician diagnosed a Samsung refrigerator model number ********* and submitted a report to ****** **** ********. We received a response with an authorization to make repairs to the unit that were allowable under her service warranty contract. She denied repairs and stated that she wanted the unit replaced. We were notified that she has been working with a case manager within the Consumer Advocate Department at CHW because they DO NOT cover manufacturer defects under any policy.
We are a vendor/service provider who can ONLY repair units that a warranty company authorizes for repair.
While we understand her frustration, it is unfortunate that we are unable to assist, as her contract is with ****** **** ********. Should she have any complaints regarding her contract, processes or procedures, those complaints should be directed to her warranty company for resolution. Any information needed can be obtained through ****** **** ********.
