We had them add concrete to a sidewalk and drive way and they also built a four-season room and a shed. We signed the contract in 2020. They didn't start until later, in the spring of 2020. We put down, approximately $3,000 to hold our spot as a down payment. All the work has been completed to the best of their ability. But there are many problems with much of the work. The four season room's floor started to buckle before it was even a year old. I called and left a message on the owner's cell number about this and they didn't respond. A few weeks went by and I called their business number, and spoke with the owner's wife who handles all the business side of the work. She was very cold and said for me to send pictures. I sent pictures to them via text. There was not response. I've contacted them again about the nailed down floating floor in the four-season room and they didn't respond to that call either. The floor is buckled. They told us at the start, and their website states, that they do flooring. (We thought we might need hire a subcontractor to lay the floor.) We purchased the flooring ourselves, they knew what we were buying and were okay with it. They charged us for laying of the floor. There are issues with the shed door not closing properly, and they used two different types of unmatched trim on the shed. The original plan was to have windows at the top of the four season room, and they framed them out, but the owner said they he couldn't get windows that size, so they were framed and sided over with expensive siding. The used caulking on the siding. The stairs to the four season room were not done correctly and one side is not even nailed. The concrete on the side walk is not level either.Customer response

Yes, the business has been back to our home to assess the flooring that was installed by the owner. He admitted it was done wrong. He offered to tear it out himself, but he would not reinstall it. We didn't want him to install it. We had asked for him to reimburse us for the cost of the flooring at today's costs which are higher than when we purchased it. He said he would only pay for the original cost of the flooring. I'll be providing a receipt to the BBB for that. I'll also send a letter that my husband to the business. We ended up tearing the floors out ourselves and we had another vendor install new floors. We would still like for this company to refund us the cost of the original floors.Customer response

********** ******** ************************************* *** **** ** ******* ** ************* **** ******************************** ****** **** *********************************** ******** ******************************************* *********** and ******,What a difference a year makes. We would not have given such a good review if asked at this time. We need to communicate with both of you our thoughts and feelings.***, you sent the text to **** about what is fair on your end. Todays cost JUST for the same exact flooring and for underlayment would cost us $840.25 + tax. This does not include the time, inconvenience and aggravation for having to deal with the buckled floor. We Firmly believe you should write a check for the full amount of the invoice that has been sent to you, ($2977.80). We were told that we should have had vents installed in the crawl space under the addition to help with moisture buildup and the potential for the flooring buckling. We will make sure this gets done. The other items that we have had and/or are still having issues with and some that did not get done per our conversation and agreement BEFORE construction was started with are;No Pentagon and Triangle windows in the north wall of the addition. The height of the shed roof to hang a bike and be able to walk underneath it.The shed leaks water under the wall baseplate.I have caulked and will continue to do so till it does not leak anymore. The shed door latch striker plate is not tight. this has been repaired by Tim once before but is still not correct. The trim around the shed door is made of 2 different type materials. One is wood and one is composite. The bottom step kick plate was never installed completely/properly.The sloppy/shoddy caulk job on the outside siding of the addition.Respectfully,***** and ****** ********
