**** spent 4 hours on my daughter's hair. She's graduating next week but I totally recommend. She took her time, worked great with my 8 year old. Knew just how to talk to and work with her. Gave me pointers on how to keep her hair healthy. All the teachers were nice and gave my daughter candy and held her hands as she was getting her first braids. Great price. 100% recommend for anyone having trouble with mixed hair. We drove an hour and a half to go here very scared because all the other salons we have previously tried knew nothing about her hair type and really butchered it. Leaving some before and after pics to give aperspective. .

Crave Beauty Academy is the worst educational training program Ive ever attended. The lead esthetician instructor is absolutely ignorant, sloppy and miserable. She doesnt teach students what they need in order to pass state boards. She is the reason for many students unnecessary disciplinary actions. (Which most cases leads to getting expelled.) The nail instructor is very inappropriate and lies to get students in trouble. The owner however doesnt care much about these claims and nothing is ever done. She is a narcissistic vengeful leader who shows no remorse. Crave teaches you nothing on ***************** are on your own when it comes to passing state board. YOU WILL NOT BE PREPARED. Beware!

This owner of the school and the instructors are unprofessional, messy, childish and biased. They do not teach here, they give the students information and turn around to gossip with each other. They go about everything in an unprofessional manner and they dont pay attention to facts they pay attention to here say. Every problem that happens within this establishment dealing with students is always they said and not fact based. I have been a witness AND a victim of such unjust treatments. Students gossips to an instructor (*****************), and that instructor gossips to ********, in which she then creates a perception in her head of the party involved and goes about punishment based off information given from them. She will ask questions and pretend to be open-minded when speaking but already has her mind made up of punishments to be made even after trying to speak your peace and state your case. Its a lot of *****, childish acts within the establishment dealing with instructors and ******** TOWARDS students and it is completely unacceptable. I would give this school 0 stars out of 5 but it physically wont allow me to. I would NOT recommend ANYONE (especially people of color) to attend this school.
