      I have taken over as rep ***** for a friend of mine and they are behind in paying his rent. I have left them multiple voicemails both to the owner **** and to ******* the office manager and no one will return my call. He is a vulnerable adult and they are taking advantage of his finances. At this time it is not that big of an amount $75 but his former house manager said this is not the first time he had been behind in fact they owe her back rent also.Thank you *************************

      The individual who is making the complaint has no standing with our office to inquire about any of our clients or their account information. This person has failed to submit the proper release of information to our office to allow for any discussion or verification of the individual or accounts Therefore, due to privacy restrictions no response can be given.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      They could have returned my call  to explain this and I would have sent my paperwork in to prove I am his to payee.  Besides this why are they 4 months behind on paying his rent.   I have been trying to contact them since November 13th.  I called and left messages on 11/13/23,  11/16/23, 11/27/23, 12/6/23,12/8/23 and 12/12/23.  NO response

      I no longer have a rep ****** My account with ****** and Company was closed in May of 2023. My account has $700 in it and my money still hasn't been sent to social security. I've been calling and no one is returning my calls. I am very unhappy and I think I might have to get a lawyer.

      I'm getting told by ****** and Company that I should call them but I've been trying to call them. I've left messages and they aren't returning my calls. My case manager has left messages and they aren't calling her back either. I don't know how that's a resolution when they aren't communicating with me. My money was supposed to be issued back to social security in August. It's now October and it still hasn't been sent back to social security. This company is very unprofessional. All of the staff are very rude. I'm very unhappy with the way they've treated me.

      she needs to either call my office or the Social security adminstration to resolve this issue. i cannot disclose acccount information in this forum. the Social Security Adminstration oversees our company and offers people options to report and resolve any issues with representative payees. i have left her a message also with this informatoin.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      They have not contacted me or my case manager. They are lying about it. My case manager filed a fraud report because they should have sent my money back to social security already in June. It's been 5 months and they are still holding onto my money. I will get a lawyer if I have *****************************************************

       Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

       

      I did receive a phone call from ****** and Company but they called my old phone that I don't use anymore. They said they sent a check to social security in the middle of September. Social Security can't tell me if they received it because they haven't processed it. I will have to wait until they process the check. You can close the complaint. Thank you.

      12/29/21 I sought services from this company to be my Rep ***** for my Social Security benefits. The owner was very unprofessional, and treated me anything, but as a customer and is suspect of mishandling state/federal funds.**** withheld my benefits of approximately $4000.00. To date, I have not received these funds from **** despite paying fees to his company and no written explanation as to how why or how the funds have been disbursed.My concern is that **** refused to disburse my benefits per the contractual agreement with the **************************** and provided no written correspondence as to where the funds went.NOTE: The *************** department administrator called **** regarding this issue. **** told the Administrator that the funds would be released to me immediately which have not been at the time of this complaint. As a direct result I became homeless with a young child. My delay in filing this complaint was due to not knowing how to file a BBB and also being homeless with no mailing address.

      ***************** should contact the ****************************** with his concerns, they have a process and the authority to resolve these types of concerns. SSA oversees our relationships with our clients and are able to review and request all transactions related to his case.
