      Purchased a 2020 Edge. They gave a carfax, the report was positive. I asked for Auto check, they said autocheck system is down. 5 days later I paid for an autocheck, it came back the car has structual damage. went to dealer and ***************** told me to get the h*** out of the store. He said that he won't let me ruin his day. Then offered me a buy back from $39,000 plus tax title license etc . to $31000 without tax. Very insulting. I was expecting to get an offer of equal value to maybe $500 less what I paid.

      We do not have a return policy I told the customer to go to **************** where he was trying to buy a new vehicle and we would give that store a buy bid . They gave him a number of ***** and we increased their bid by ***** dollars. On our deal we actually discounted our price by giving the customer an overallowance of **** due to the hail damage  on his trade. Again we do not have a return policy.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      The buy back bid was too low. I'll be at White Bear Lincoln tomorrow. The car has structural damage according to auto check. I was told autocheck was down and had no report on 6/13/2022 before my signing the paperwork. I saw a carfax which did not describe any damages. Carfax came back as a pristine car. So I was misled..... Anyway If my trade was over valued by $2000 then cut me a check made out to **************** for $36995 plus tax. I'll eat the title and document fees.

      I will also cancel the extended ************ plan I purchased on top of the $38995 plus tax..... I will bring in a copy of carfax and autocheck and expect a civil negotiation. If not maybe respond to this and tell me not to waste my time . I will seek out a lawyer for a civil court case. I have more to say and would like to say it in person. I have documents to upload if I need to or show in person.

      Purchased 2018 Lincoln MKC From WB Lincoln 04/23/21. Were told that the transmission & engine had just been replaced, which encouraged our purchase descision. We were getting a brand new transmission & motor. From my experience ,most dealers do an inspection of used vehicles prior to sale. Which they stated was done. Once we took the vehicle home we noticed a whining sound coming from the transmission. Upon calling the dealer, they suggested it could be the turbo charge but suggested to bring it in. When we brought it in they found the car had a bad transmission. The one they said they just replaced! Had they done an true inspection prior to the sale as they said they did, they would have noticed the dirty tranny fluid/burnt tranny fluid. A clue there is something wrong! Our purchase descision would have had a different outcome knowing this! Paperwork attached. Talked to general manager @ WBL Lincoln. Impression given: arrogant & unsympathetic. Found out this is tranny #3

      I am sorry you had issues with your vehicle right after the purchase. I looked up your warranty It is complete coverage of your vehicle until 6/20/2025 or 100000 miles whichever comes first. It is good at any Ford or Lincoln dealer in North America. I do see that you have a 100 deductible White Bear Lincoln would pay that on any repair done at our garage, but if you were traveling and could not come here we would pay it then also.        I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle was sold to us as ' the transmission was replaced once', only to find out from the service tech this is the 3rd transmission for this vehicle. Not even sure i trust the quality of the transmisson at this point.  But if you do, then there shouldn' be a problem with extending the warranty just so we have piece of mind after spending more then $28000.00 on vehicle. Also the warranty your stating we have is because we purchased the extened warranty............

       Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 15643589, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The general sales manager contacted us, he offered to extend our current warranty (which we paid extra for). Agreed to an additional 2 years, so our vehicle will be covered until June 2027. We understand that in order for them to be able to processs this extension of warranty, it would have to be submitted, immediatley prior to our current warranty ending. Our current warranty ends in June 2025. We are very satisfied with this agreement.  He agreed to put this in a file at the dealership for future reference to other associates, in case he is no longer there.  Lastly he is sending us an agreement letter for our records.  This general sales manager was professional & actually listened to our conerns. Thank you
