Regrets!!! Trading in pre- owned ‘2015 Jeep Patriot in ‘2020(30,000) for BMW X3 ‘2017 This Certified pre-owned ‘2017 X3 BMW was big disappointment . Within 7 weeks after purchase BMW MTKA, X3 stalled at traffic light and again final destination . It had to be towed back BMW MTKA dealership. Requested return perfectly good ‘2015 pre-owned Jeep Patriot trade-in 30,000 miles in May ‘2020 Who wants BMW certified pre-owned vehicle that stalls in Mid July in Minnesota summer, NOT GOOD .. it just a problem … BMW refused return of my ‘2015 Jeep Patriot vehicle and did not want defected ‘2017 X3 stalled in 7 weeks Had purchase upgrade vehicle $12,000 add’l cost of Stalled X3, out of my price rangeReview from Jasur B.

I bought 2018 530x drive from BMW of Minnetonka. Speedometer is build for 160m/h and car is advertised for 155m/h. I do not care about 5m/h speed difference but what is annoying is car can not do more then 133m/h in factory settings. This is major ripp off from both dealer side and BMW of North America. I did my research apparently all of their 2017 to 2022 530xi & 540xi models are the same no more then 133m/h speed. I think it same with thier different models too. BMW is famous for performance and speed, that is why people eager to buy this brand. But dealership nor the BMW north America never informed potential clients that some of their models can not mach what is advertised. This is such a shame and I think if they put 130m/h speedometer in their car they will have such a hard time selling car but instead they are just lying to thier Custumers. When I connected to dealer he refused to fix this issue and same with BMW north America. Apparently I have to spent extra money to remove the govenor from the car and install performance tires to reach 155m/h speed. First of all if I do all these I am jeopardizing factory warranty, plus extended warranty. Secondly, all these adjustments are expensive and not mentioned when I was purchasing the car. At last, if I knew all these hidden tricks I would not have bought the car. I believe this dealership and others who may be same thing need to stop and inform the customers that some of thier models can not perform advertised speeds in factory setting. I very disappointed from BMW of Minnetonka and the BMW of North America for not resolving this issue.
