I took my **** ****** Vstar 650 to Blue Cat Garage on August 5th. I brought it there to have a new front tire replaced and a s**** put in that came out under the back of the exhaust pipe. I returned the next day to pick it up and ***** had to make several attempts to get it started. Two days later my bike would not start, called the shop owner gave me a hard time and said I could bring it back in for a diagnostic. I did not and had another shop look at it for me and they found that the odometer was disconnected and the carburator had been messed with and the s**** they replaced was the wrong one, and the new shop has not yet to figure out totally what all they did to my motocycle and is still trying to find what is causing my bike not to start after 2 years of me riding with NO issues until Blue Cat Garage had it in their shop over night.Business response

Regarding the complaints: The only work that was preformed at BlueCat Motorcycle was a front tire replacement and a bolt to hold in the exhaust baffle. Since no complaint was made about the front tire we assume that no issues were found. The complaint made about the incorrect size "screw"-only one size bolt will fit in the corresponding threaded baffle and we did use the correct one, we have hundreds of labeled hardware and would not use a the wrong size as we always have a correct bolt in stock,. This is the first we are hearing about a wrong size bolt. As far as the carburetors being "messed with".....we were asked ONLY to change a front tire and replace a missing bolt, nothing else. We did not, and would not do any extra work that is not authorized by the customer first as we would need to be paid a labor deposit . The customer had said nothing about any carburetor issues when the motorcycle came in, it test drove with no issues, and the customer drove away with no issues. The customer paid for a tire change and a bolt replacement only and that was the only work preformed. BlueCat Motorcycle considers the matter closed.
