I was never sent a debit card for my HSA. When I finally received the card and tried to use it, I was told that I couldn't because it was termed on 11/14. They never told me this information and said I would need to pay in advance and do a claim that would take up to 2 weeks to pay out. This is unacceptable. I am left with a debit card that is useless.Business response

Member has an FSA not HSA. Medical FSA is a use it or lose it account. This account started on 8/1/23-12/31/23, however she has a term date on this account effective 11/14/23 which now makes this account a spend down only. She paid in $40 to use for qualifying medical expenses between her active dates of 8/1/23-11/14/23. She was advised that she can submit a manual claim to access these funds for expenses as outlined above. Debit Cards will not work on a termed FSA, however she was advised on how to submit and was not happy with the guidance provided, she responded to our customer service representative that she hope the company burn to the ground and hung up on her.Per IRS guidelines, FSA requires claim accompanied by documentation on the service incurred, date of service, type of service and amount member is responsible to pay.However, again the services needed to happen while member was active and can submit manual claims for those expenses no later than 2/14/24.Initial Complaint

I opened a ************** Account with FURTHER at the end of May. I contributed $7300 on May 30. When my funds posted as available, I submitted a reimbursement for dental work I'd had done in the previous month. My disbursement was pending for weeks. After finally getting in contact with them (it took over a week for each correspondence) and submitting everything they asked for (bank statements and driver's license), I was informed that they were closing the account. I have yet to receive my funds for that account closure and can't log in anymore to see the funds. They have been STOLEN! Do not do business with this company!Business response

Our ******************** has worked with him directly to obtain his drivers license to validate the account. We have determined that this account is Fraudulent and our ******************** has been trying to contact him and he is not responding to any of the calls. They will continue to reach out to him to discuss this account, but there is no money in the account to refund due to fraud. Thank you.
