During the month of April 2021 our house, roof and vehicles sustained damage from a storm that carried baseball size hail.Almost 2hrs after the storm a Mayday Restoration truck pulled up. The guys couldn't have been nicer. Showed us everything that was damaged and assured us in no time our house would be back to normal in no time. They left us feeling hopeful and optimistic! From that time on it has been a nightmare.We were asked to be home for meetings and no one would show up. The roof eventually got done that summer and since then we are at a stand still One excuse after another. The two originals guys were brothers and brought some guy to our house to measure windows. They said they needed a copy of the paperwork so my wife gave them the folder to take pictures. Unbeknown to us they took the checks out of the folders. We didn't notice it right away but when we did I called our insurance and luckily they could not cash the checks since they were not endorsed by our bank.When we called Mayday we found out they had quit. Nobody called to tell us and so here we go again, starting over.We are now on our 3rd person with Mayday and the only thing we've gotten done in the last year was our rain gutters. That was a few weeks ago and only done because my wife pushed for it. This August we had picked out siding and thought we would be getting that and the windows soon. Didn't hear anything for over a month. Two weeks ago he texts us, not calls us but texts and says we can't do that siding unless you pay $100 more per square foot!!! Seriously?! Here we are 19 months later with a house that looks like c*** and still the same b.s. answers.Disheartening! Now we have to find a lawyer and maybe our house will get done in this century!
