      I have been trying to get a lift chair from APA medical since December we have been sending emails back and forth they need this and it got documents from my doctors which was sent three times then they claimed that they need to have health partners get back to them about what they will or won't pay we still have not heard from them even what we know that ******** would not pay for it so I was going through my caddy now I talked to ***** at APA and he claimed that he had been talking they've been talking to health partners had sent them the paperwork and we're waiting on them so being six months out I called health partners/ I've been with them for 30 years I wanted to know if they received anything and what I can do to speed things up I'm going to find out they receive no paperwork they receive no phone calls and she put me on hold and called home line after she's filing a complaint with home line against *** and said that I should hear later now not 20 minutes later I get a call stating that they're going to go past the prior auth and that I would get my ****** and my lift chair all they needed was a quote and I would get my ****** on Friday well lo and behold showed up to day I talked to my caddy worker who said she was waiting on a quote from them on my chair I said if she didn't give it by 11 I would call them called APA. *** said oh well we'll get it to her right away and/they may have to order it but ***** said that it was in stock now I told them I would call them back to see if they sent the price quote to my caddy worker at one so we will see what happens I have had problems with them for 15 years and I would not recommend anybody ever working with them I just happened to call on them whatever they said I wanted proof so that's what I'm doing. I'm reporting them and I hope people read this

      Bought a recliner. Pendant quit working while still under warranty. Can not get them to give me a new one. ******* sent them a pendant for my chair. They have the pendant. They can not/will not make arrangements so that I can have this pendant. Very poor customer service. And, that's an understatement.

      Customer had contacted another store (******* Med). They had the pendant sent out. However, the manufacturer, Golden Technologies, sent he hand pendant to us instead. Because we did not order the pendant, we had no idea why ****** had sent the pendant to us. We did contact Golden and inquired as to what the pendant was for. They gave us the customer's name and we contacted him to let him know that the pendant was here. It is still here. We are calling customer again right now.

      The owner of APA Medical was extremely rude to me when I went in to order a wheelchair. Im unable to be in any store without my one. I filed a complaint above the behavior with the manager when I found out that it was her that had treated me so badly. Now my doctor tried to call her and her order the appropriate wheelchair for me and my doctor was told that because I complained about the owner they are not going to do business with me anymore. She is neither a good person or business owner.

      We are only seeing this review now. It appears that customer came to our store on 5/10/2021 for a nebulizer and a wheelchair. She had the prescriptions faxed over from her clinic. Customer did come to our store. We showed her the wheelchair. Everything seemed fine. Then, after an hour or two after she left, customer called to say that her husband was coming down to pick up the prescriptions and go somewhere else because we were rude to her. We had no clue from her time here that there was any problem. We did document this in customer's file because we really didn't understand what it was all about. We are sorry that customer felt this way. We only wish that she had let us know what the issue was.
