      Completed a shop in December. They set my date to be paid 1/20. This seems like too long to wait already. It's now Jan 27 and no payment. Their website stated they pushed the date to 2/20. Also the amount is doesn't include my purchase receipt. Never doing a shop with them again. Do not recommend. Cutting my loss and moving on.

      Best Mark does not pay for approved shops as they state. I had to beg for my pay every month for three months and the 4th month they have not paid.

      This is a C*** company, both for the people who sign up to evaluate stores and for the hapless merchants who hire the company to evaluate their stores.I signed up to evaluate restaurants within seven miles of where I live. Over the next several months, I received dozens of notices about "shop opportunities," but NOT A SINGLE ONE was for a restaurant, and most of them were for places far outside my distance limit!Many of these notices were for marijuana dispensaries. Well, I hate marijuana and don't use it at all. I don't care if other people use it, but I don't like it or use it, and I'm not at all qualified to evaluate a shop that sells it.I wrote to the three people who had been sending me e-mail notices of "shop opportunities," explaining all this, but they ignored my e-mail and went right on sending me notices of "shop opportunities" that were totally outside my expertise and far outside my distance limit.So I wrote to them AGAIN, but they went right on sending me such notices. I finally had to put all three of them on my "blocked sender list."Based on my experience, BestMark is a SCAM and a FRAUD, and if I could do so, I would put up billboards all across the country warning both business owners and prospective "shoppers" not to have anything to do with it!

      Bestmark's policy states payments are made within a month and takes 3 to 4 weeks. I completed a shop on August 2022 that I drove 1 hr +, wasted a quarter of gas money to get there and spent 2+ hours to observe, document and report the assignment as required. After all this, I checked my bank the following month, and noticed that all the other companies have paid for the services provided to them, but Bestmark was the only one left. I went to their site, and the payment date was pushed back to October 2022. Considering that Bestmark does not pay well, this is an infuriating situation to be in. After calling multiple times, emailing multiple times and receiving vague emails stating that they are working on it and will provide an update when they have one, I realized there is a problem. Either there is some mismanagement in their departments and/or they are going through financial troubles and riding on the back of unprotected workers to get by. Either way, this is not acceptable, and a class action lawsuit should be filed against them.

      I have shopped for BestMark for years and have had no issues with payments for completed shops. Earlier this year I completed some shops and took a month an half to be paid. Now, I did a shop in September and still not paid. Everytime I check the payment date keeps getting moved further and further out. Have tried emailing but get no responses. No one will answer their phones anymore. DO NOT RECOMMEND BESTMARK FOR SECRET SHOPPING ANYMORE. They get the reports with all details followed and copy of the receipt and are not paying.

      Much like the other reviews, they DO NOT pay. I have been trying to get reimbursed $300 dollars from a job that was completed on 8/29/22. I did start emailing yesterday about the pay and was sent a message that the payment has been processed but still nothing in my account or pending payment waiting to post. I don't know why they have a phone number because they never answer the calls or messages that are left. The only response I have ever gotten from an email was the one that I received yesterday. If I could give no stars I would. I know that there are reputable mystery shopping companies, not sure this is one of them.

      BestMark is nothing but a scam. Everything you have heard and read about them regarding the shifting of paydays and lack of communication is absolutely true. The name ********************* is bogus as well and is a name used on computer generated responses to all enquiries as well as fraudulent emails claiming to give you first crack at available shops before they show up on the BestMark site. I have been waiting for months for two outstanding shops and have resigned myself to the fact that I, along with countless other individuals, will never receive an honest update from the company or ever see payment. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS!

      Tried to leave 0 stars...you have to select 1 or more. Been waiting on payment for shops completed for months and the payment that was supposed to be issued yesterday has once again been pushed out another month. Don't waste your time or your money completing shops. You are doing it for free.
