I purchased an item from Barrels and Arrows through Gunbroker in June of 2024 and I have never received the item. The item number is **********. I contacted the seller twice concerning the item being shipped and both times I was told that somehow the item had failed to transfer over from ********* to their system but they had confirmation of me paying for the item and that it would be shipped immediately. I purchased this item in June of 2024 and today is January 1 , 2025 . The seller will no longer return text messages or answer the phone number provided or emails. I am in lose of $315.35 USD and I want either the item shipped to my ffl dealer or to be refunded the $315.35 . This seller had very good reviews on ********* or else I would never have purchased anything from them but now they are no longer a seller on *********.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the firearm is definitely attainable and not discontinued, either through a supplier or another seller as I just looked online and on gunbroker. This is the base, synthetic tactical Remington 870; nothing too fancy and is probably their most popular shotgun. There's about as much chance of them discontinuing this, as Glock discontinuing the Model 17. The ad title on gunbroker also lists it as an Express, but the model number in the description is actually R25549 which is still in production from looking at their website, and is called the 870 synthetic tactical. Perhaps that's where their problem lies, in that they put it as an Express in the title and that may be what they're searching for with their suppliers. Worst case scenario, I'm sure they could also find a similar synthetic model or slightly better model due to the inconvenience and work it out with me. The fact is they fraudulently sold a firearm they didn't have, so now I'm stuck having to wait till their suppliers get one in and they sort out their distribution issues. I also don't want a refund as 1. I've already invested significant time and money into receiving this firearm and if I accepted anything less, but the gun would have nothing to show for my efforts, and 2. I never got the partial refund I was supposed to get on the Colt Python I was promised well over 3 months ago, so I don't honestly trust them to process a refund. Plus there's numerous other reports, BBB complaints, and ****** and ******** reviews of people not getting their promised refunds, so seems like that would be just as bad of a route to go, if not worse.

B&A is completely unprofessional and unresponsive once they have your money.GunBroker has removed B&A from their platform due to numerous complaints from other customers. *** also filed reports with the local police, Attorney General, ***, BBB, and *** in hopes of holding this company accountable for their fraudulent business ************ this point, I seek delivery of the Remington 870, not a refund, as Ive already invested significant time, effort, and frustration, and would have nothing to show for it if I received a refund. B&As incompetence, lack of professionalism, and neglect should not be tolerated, and I hope the BBB will take swift action to prevent others from facing the same issues. Buy rifle on October 9 through gunbroker, put on layaway then paid it off about a month later. Since then nothing no rifle or refund. I call and nothing. When I did get a hold of them the excuse was they dropped the rifle when boxing it up for shipment, he said he ordered another one and was supposed to be there in a few ******* never showed. Then I got a an excuse that the owner had some kind of medical emergency and the guy I talked to couldnt do any thing. I want my product or a full refund.Business Response

It was over a month before I filed the charge back. this guy does this on purpose. just check FB or ****** the name of his shop and that is more than enough proof that he is doing this on purpose. He is not only keeping people's money, he is also keeping their firearms as well. That's a thief to me. I will be in touch with his local state police as well as *** to file charges on him and his shop. he doesnt answer the customer or the banks, That's why there are maybe getting close to a hundred charge backs because that's the only thing we can do as a customer! We are now, getting a bunch of these customers he has stolen from and going to file class action suit on this low life.. Some of us are getting our heads together to make a trip to his shop to confront this coward, liar and thief!! I have no idea hoe he continues to get away with it and he is still ripping people off with their hard earned money and their firearms. The feds should be able to do something to shut him down from being able to do this to honest people!!?? I have every email and phone calls to him in black and white with dates on everything. This includes Gunbroker business he was selling on. I have emails from them saying that he would not answer their phone calls or emails (like he does to everyone he burns) So they cut off his account and they cant help anyone with this. He has a nice little rip of game going on that nobody has called him on until now. He should not ever be able to even hold a business license much less his FFL lic!!! I also have along with all paperwork, pictures of this thief, phone numbers and addresses he has held for the last 10 years if anyone needs this info, email me thru BBB and I will send you everything you need to file lawsuits against this lowlife ******. I will be getting in touch with his local municipalities to file reports against him. Again, Its just all the stuff I saved from him and about him.

I paid Barrels and Arrows a total of $890.95. I have only recovered a chargeback of $264.74, which they are well aware of, as ************* has kicked them off their platform for their fraudulent business practices, and advised Custmers who have been cheated by them to initiate chargebacks. If Barrels and Arrows wants to refund the remaining $626.21 they owe me, I will be satisfied. Otherwise, I will pursue all avenues to recover my funds, including legal action against Barrels and Arrows.****** *********

I am rejecting this response because: I have recovered the funds I paid to Barrels and Arrows via Credit Card ($640.95 of $890.95 paid to them). Barrels and Arrows still owes me $250.00 that I paid them via personal check #****- If they wish to issue a refund for that amount, I will consider the matter concluded. Otherwise, I will be filing a complaint with the *****************, Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF).
