I bought a vehicle from this business and immediately started having problems and still continue to find things on this vehicle that I was lied to about. I was told this vehicle was 100% ready to go and safe to drive. It had a leaking water pump, brakes were all completely worn down so far it was marked as unsafe to drive by my mechanic, then I found out that it had a blown strut, bent spindle and both rear shocks were leaking. The spindle and strut were caused by an accident that I was aware about but this business told me they had it state inspected and it was fixed and safe to drive. I have also come to find out that some of the work they did to this vehicle is done poorly and I was also lied to about how they fixed a rust spot. There is 2 badges on the vehicle that this business installed obviously incorrectly and this business also told me they correctly fixed the rockers with new metal and such, this was incorrect info as they just filled it with body bondo and sprayed over it. The factory pinch welds were also damaged making it unsafe to drive.

2016 dodge charger ppv was purchased on 7/31/21, was told the car was in good shape and that it was clean title vehicle. I paid for the car in full and had some work done to vehicle such as new tires and the awd system service at my local dodge dealership. A month or so after purchase I received a letter from the dmv about the vehicles rebuilt status, it also asked that I take the vehicle to have an inspection. None of these details were disclosed to me and the owner Mike said he would like to talk, I met with him on multiple occasions waiting for a resolution, Mike said it would take 3 months which I waited to no solution. On Dec 20 I met with him again and he said that he would try one last time on clearing the title with dmv and I never heard from Mike after that. Now it's been another month and they won't answer my phone calls anymore. I want my money refunded, or a 6 thousand dollar check so I can keep car with salvage title. I have text of conversations and of Mike's responses to issue throughout this headache of a purchase

We have taken the car back and refunded in full.

I have settled with rt auto sales for full refund of vehicle purchase except refund of tires, but this is a loss accepted as I prefer refund of vehicle and avoiding lawyer and court fees over tire cost
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 16661192, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

On 4/13/2020 my son and I purchased a vehicle from RT Auto Sales in Ham Lake, MN. My son recently went to trade in the vehicle and was told the title is a salvaged title and the vehicle has been in two accidents. None of this information was disclosed to us upon purchase. My son had a second dealership verify the salvaged title. There is nothing on the paperwork from the purchase that shows this information. Our bank also verify they have nothing on file that this is a salvaged title.
