      I signed up for this service two months before the COVID outbreak. They took weeks to set me up. By the time I was able to see what a crappy job they did with my pictures COVID was in full swing. I became ill with the pandemic for 8 weeks. I called to tell them that due to COVID no one wanted to respond or date. This was when they said they could sell my membership to someone else. So I never filed a complaint and never heard from them again. I payed ********* for a stupid profile and crappy photos during a pandemic. They never sold my membership and never refunded any money. No dates, no responses due to COVID and horrible photos. I want people to know these guys are a big joke! Nice rip off scam just like the pandemic.

       Ms. Peggy ******* enrolled with Minneapolis Singles on November 4, 2019.  She came back for another appointment to complete her New Member Orientation.  On November 19th, 2019 she contacted the office to ask for her membership to be put on hold because she had met someone. Her email stated that if this relationship doesn’t work out, she would like to retake her photos at a later date”, which we said we would do at no cost. We have not heard from her since, as she said she was dating someone.  Not once was Covid even mentioned as her complaint states, we have copies of all of her correspondence and emails proving this, if you would like us to provide copies. So, getting this complaint 2.5 years later, out of the blue, is surprising to us.  We are happy that she met someone and she is aware that her membership includes unlimited freeze time, so she did not lose any membership time during Covid or during this time she has been in a relationship.  We are here to help Ms. ******* if she would like to reactivate her membership at any time!  Let us know if you need any further information!

       I am rejecting this response because: I called them to ask them to return my money because of no one would respond to my online dating request and it was because of COVID. WHO WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT WHEN WE WERE ON LOCKDOWN!!! I asked them to refund my money over the phone and they said they could sell my membership.

      This is in response to the additional comments. As we mentioned in our previous response, Covid did not affect any of our members or memberships because our program allows our clients to have "freeze" time, so no membership time was lost for anyone.  Our members always have the option to inactive their membership for any reason and additional membership time was given to everyone who didn't feel comfortable dating during Covid.  Again, we have all the email correspondence from Ms. ******* which she stated that the reason she wanted to put her membership on hold was because she met someone and was in a relationship.  We have never told Ms. ******* that we would sell her membership for her, as that is not something we can do, so we do not know where those statements are coming from.  As always, we are here to help Ms. ******* if she would like to continue to use her membership at any time.
