Hello. I purchased a deck box on Walmart.com on September 15/2021. I did not, however, get the opportunity to open it and begin assembling it until yesterday, October 18/2021. I quickly realized the top was smashed and tried to return it. Walmart said it was third party and their system cannot process the return. I called the 3rd party retailer and they said it was 3 days past their return date which was 30 days! Wow. I mean I literally just opened it. I called back to WalMart. WalMart then told me the manufacturer has a 1 year warranty and must honor it so they gave me their email info. I emailed Today’s-Gear yesterday and received an email this morning informing me that they don’t stock that piece because it’s too large and there’s nothing they can do. So how is that honoring a 1 year warranty? I have a useless deck box because the broken piece is the most important one, the top. I mean I’m not asking for a full refund unless that’s the only avenue. I would be happy with new top.
