We signed up for annual lawn services with Weedman in 2022 given our home is for sale, and based on marketing promises for guaranteed satisfaction. Prior 2 applications we were not home, but on 7/8/22 both my wife and I were home working in separate offices. Weed man rang doorbell, but ignored it as I was in a meeting. We both watched as Weed Man technician walked the property line spraying a few weeds for a total time of less than 1 to 2 minutes. At no time did he walk the interior of lawn which I know of several weed areas. He did not treat known weeds by the landscaping edging which there are many as he couldnt see **** archers away from these needed treatment areas. He didnt not apply fertilizer. We witnessed a < average/unprofessional quick run around the property, put a tag in the front yard and take off. The treatment witness by both my wife and I and captured on property camera.The same day I expressed these concerns via email to *******, noting I was unsatisfied with the services provided, told her I would not pay as it was incomplete and cancel the rest of my year subscription. I requested ******* to call me with questions. She did not call nor anything for service recovery like offering additional treatment. She emailed noting she discontinued my annual service agreement. She didnt acknowledge my dissatisfaction, which Weedman website guarantee satisfaction and charged me for the less than shotty and unprofessional services on 7/8/22. Furthermore, they attempted to schedule a fertilizer treatment 2 days later, which all other lawn services companies do this in one visit, not two visits just a couple days apart to charge you more. I mention this as I know this complaint will be published, as I wish someone would have warned me when I was searching reputable lawn services companies. I am seeking resolution given Weed Man ignored my concerns and communication they were unauthorized to charge my credit card for $62.00 on 7/8/22.Business response

Within a couple of days after weed service I had stripes of dead grass in a checkerboard like pattern and one large area of completely dead grass. They said it was due to not watering and the grass would come back in a couple of weeks. Then they said the mower blades were not sharp- I have a new mower this year. Then they said not to mow in the evening, which I do not. I have a sprinkler system so lack of water was not the issue and does not explain the straight lines and large area of dead grass that was contained to one section of the yard. The remainder of the yard was/is green and healthy. It has been a month+ and the areas are still completely dead, there is no growth at all. Others who have looked at the lawn hold Weedman responsible. This is clearly a result of their service and they refused to own it or offer suggestions to resolve.Business response
