On November 17, ****, we had to put our cat down. The vet we used, used this service, and we used before as well, so we went with them. The order for the cats memorial was to be placed by November 20, 2023. The order I submitted the evening of November 17, 2023 included an urn, and a plaque with my cats paw print.On November 27, 2023, I was contacted that a mistake was made. The cats paw print wasnt done before he was cremated. This message was delivered to me poorly, and I was offered a free photo blanket of my cat, as a replacement. It took two management calls before another solution was offered. The Regional Manager that I spoke with directly said that the staff I previously spoke with werent trained properly to deal with these situations. He was also extremely rude, no compassion at all, just defending the company. After I said that he had no compassion nor was listening to me, he started, but continued to not have compassion.On November 28, 2023, we picked up our cats ashes. The name plate that was etched with the cats name had black marker to fill in mistakes made and the gold was shining through. Additionally, the etching was not done well and the lettering and spacing of the letters are mismatch. The company failed to mention this, or that they didnt contact me about the mistake when it was made, on November 20, 2023. I was refunded for the cremation, in which this was highlighted multiple times in my conversations. I dont want the refund, I want the irreplaceable product, and a decent enough name plate for the product that I do have. We went through the same process with our dog two weeks previous, the company was unable to provide a response as to how the situations were different, as the same items were ordered, when asked.This company is not fit to handle end of life for family members. The non-compassion and throwing money to fix irreplaceable mistakes, was a horrifying experience.
