Worst service EVER provided. We had them as an AHS home warranty service provider and they were absolutely horrid. A horrible lady on the phone was difficult to schedule with for service. Then they sent an older gentleman that yelled when asked a question or when I stated the faucet was loose. He did this directly in front of my 2 year old daughter. Then prior to that he checked my kitchen sink for all of 5 minutes and attached a hose and broken head then left the water on. Needless to say it flooded up while he briefly worked on the upstairs faucet. Extensive damage has occurred due to that leak and now marks on granite. Completely unprofessional and I will seek legal recourse. Please be aware of this company and their poor service.Review from Jeff G

I was not surprised to read all the bad Yelp and BBB reviews, after my experience with American Plumbing. My home warranty referred me. A man called my wife, and asked her things she did not know (even though all the answers were in the work order I submitted). She said I was out of town and unavailable for the next few days, after which I could talk. They left me two messages and when I called back 3 business days later, a woman answered. She seemed very curt from the beginning--no sense of happiness or commitment to service. I thought it was strange when she breathed heavily into my ear for over a minute as I waited, but I thought that maybe she had exercised and that's why she was so short with me. She told me that my work order was cancelled because she could not get a hold of anyone in 5 days. I said that a man spoke to my wife 5 days earlier and she claimed no one from her company talks to customers other than her (which I imagine loses them a lot of business). She then claimed that she talked to me while I was in Florida (contradicting her own claim that she never reached anyone). As I tried to explain that we never talked and that I was definitely never in Florida, she cut me off repeatedly and began yelling mostly incoherently. When, I said, "Whoa. Whoa. Can we take a step back?" she responded by mocking me by making a voice and repeating what I said back to her (like my kids might do). After the second time, I questioned why she was treating me this way. She responded by saying that I was the problem and that we "clearly can't work together." I implored her for us to treat each other well and she hung up on me. I don't know if she was on drugs (based on the confusion and irrational anger) or has had some horrible traumas in her life. Whatever it is, I hope she seeks help so that she can be a happier person and start bringing joy instead of anguish to others.Review from Sandeep N.

I have bad experience with American plumbing with my recent work order. Through AHS home warranty company, i have requested service for 3 issues. American plumbing fixed 2 of them and 1 issue they said they dont have part and need to ordered. After couple of weeks they said the part came but thats not matching with part that i need it for repair. They called and apologized for the delay and mentioned that they are going do fast shipping and fix it soon. Till here everything looks good. I have waited and called couple of times they said part is still not came. After few days they started saying they have complted all work and anything pending i have to raise seperate request through AHS. I have to make calls to AHS and explain about all the story and did the recall. American plumbing denied later to do the recall. I was surprised they did nt have signoff process for the work orders that they are doing. AHS Assigned to different company and they came and fixed it in 1hr. My 2mnths wait and so many followups and explanations got fixed in 1hr from different plumbing company. I have all emails, calls, appoinmemts to support this.American Plumbing Service Response

This was a very mishandled work order and I really apolize for this but what was done was completed the parts are still not hear we have quite a problem with htis co. and last month we stop using them becz everything takes a few more weeks than normal but anyways we did not conduct ourselves properly and using this a training tape to handle theses problems. So, something negative turned into a positve for us so that we can use this call as a tool to correctly handle a customerReview from S. P.

The owner of the company, Chris, is very rude and unprofessional when confronted about her plumber's not keeping their appointment windows. She will swear at you and use language that is unbecoming in any business setting.Review from S. P.

This company was contracted by American Home Shield to come out to my home to repair a kitchen faucet. The appointment was on May 11, 2021 from 9:00am - 1:00pm. At 12:55pm I called the company asking if they were on their way or running behind since the appointment window was about to close. The owner of the company answered the phone stating the appointment window was not yet closed. She then proceeded to tell me that the appointment window was not from 9:00am - 1:00pm. When I told her I would forward her the email confirmation from AHS she came very belligerent, indignant, and nasty. The owner's response was very unprofessional as she used intensive profanity towards me. The level of customer service is very low. After reading through this company's on Yelp and other social media outlets this type of behavior is very common.American Plumbing Service Response

The customer appt time was 10-2 I had to keep repeating myself and we weren't ready for him at this point the customer was very indignate & masty also, and at that point we decided we would not be servicing this customer due to the service tech doesn't need to hear this from the customer so since we had such a bad start we thought it best to send someone else so that his experience could be much better since I didn't conduct myself in a business type manner but sometimes customer put you over the edge. Also, the comment about yelp that was my office mgr and she no longer works here due to bad behavior. So, hopefully he has better luck with the company he was reasigned to.Customer Response

That is not true. The appointment was from 9am - 1pm and I have the email confirmation to support my statement. However the person who answered the phone did not want to hear it and conducted herself in a very professional manner.American Plumbing Service Response

THe info he is trying to claim is correct he was originally scheduled 9-1 but also stated that we would call the day b4 between 3-5 and verify window of time due to prior jobs might make for some adjustments to the window. But, that day b4 his sindow of time changed duie to a prior call that parts came in and had to go there and just had to re-arrange that window but in the system they show an update to that window to be 10-2 so I didn't need him to send a e-mail I already had that but tried to explain window was changed I don't remeber if voicemail was full or left messsage then heard from him the next day with him raising hate and discontent and didn't want to listen to anything only about sending this e-mail. So, once again we are sorry for the inconvience but it was changed in the system and its part of American Home Shield records and after all the negative comments that he made I wasn't send a tech out to his home they don't get paid enough to here the disgruntled customer so better to let him start off new with someone that could please himCustomer Response

The business owner continues to contradict themselves. I know the truth and will never do business with them again. No phone calls were made the prior day and no voice mails were left. When I called about the 9-1 appointment none of this information was presented to me. All of have to do is read through this business's Yelp and social media reviews to see that the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism is not an isolated incident.American Plumbing Service Response

Well, the appt was changed to 10-2 that is why I didn't need to look at the prior appt time of 9-1 it shows in the AHS screen that the appt changed but all he wants to talk about is this 9-1 appt and on the original call we did tell him thaT WE CALL THE DAY B4 YOUR APPT TO CONFIRM TIMES DUE TO THE FACT THEY COULD CHANGE usually about 1 hr time frame the change and that is exactly happened but he refuses to hear that I will not be servicing this customer and all the negative reviews well been in business 40+ years and there is a handful of negative reviews not what we like to see but it does happen and all we can do is move forward try to remedy the situation the best that we can but even in these reviews that your seeing its all about this appt time of 9-1 . I do have an attachment but regarding the change in time and be more than happy to send but don't know how to attach
