My name is ************************* I am a returning customer I was treated very bad I brought a 2004 motor for a Pontiac grand am one year ago it cost 900 dollars I recently purchased a 2004 subframe for a 2004 ****** maxima. The coustermer service man ***** took my money april 24 2024 and told me he was shipping it I said okay I called a week later this again told me he was shipping the part I said okay again I called a week later he said the same thing he was shipping it out I called may 13 a person name *** told me it will be 200 more dollars because of the shipping I told him I already paid you guys he told me he was going to refund my money because the parts supplier was not going to pay for shipping I told him that I have paid my mechanic 1800 dollars already because this had told me the part was being shipped the ************* told me that's my problem I told *** if you would have not told me the deal was good I would have not paid the mechanic. I have been waiting 3 weeks for the part and *** was very un courteous and didn't care that I was a returning coustemer I asked him *** could I speak with the owner he told me no whe I called back to speak with ***** they sent me to voice mailPrefer Auto Parts Response

We are writing in response to the complaint filed against Prefer Auto Parts by ************************* on 05-13-24, we take all customer feedback seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns.After thoroughly investigating the matter, we have identified the issue and would like to offer our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience experienced by *************************.****************, as mentioned in his complaint, had purchased an engine in the year 2023 and the part was delivered without any hassle. On the 24th April **************** paid $450 and ordered an engine subframe(Engine Cradle), at the time of order we were not aware that this part cannot be put on a *** or ***** as we normally send the other part.The shipping company insisted that the part needs to be crated/pallated, and will be shipped through the freight truck that will cost an additional $245. In the meantime we contacted multiple carries but without any success.Our team constantly kept **************** informed that the part is yet to be shipped and never informed the part was being shipped. To resolve the matter we informed **************** that we are unable to fulfil the order due to the shipping issues advised to find the part locally that would save him from paying additional shipping cost and we have issue a full refund of $450.50 on 05-13-24 for which have emailed the refund receipt as proof of refund.Review from De'Anna B

Terrible customer service, and did not honor their warranty agreement.Order an engine that turned out to be defective. Contacted prefer auto parts and spoke with both *** and ****, that was no help. *** stated that he sent the replacement engine to a city over 65 miles from the location in which we had the motor sent to originally. This was something we never discussed, and when he requested that we pay to have it delivered or make arrangements to pick it up, I explained that we were not paying anymore fees nor are we able to pick it up. He has refused to issue a full refund or to have the motor sent to the address that it was ordered to.Prefer Auto Parts Response

The details in our file indicate that you were impatient and abusive, and you did not provide an opportunity for the agent to resolve the issue. It is very unfortunate that the truck was unavailable at that time. If you had given us time, this issue could easily have been resolved. Also, as per our agreements for refunds, we also ask customers to return the merchandise. In your case, the merchandise is still with you. Prefer Auto Parts does their very best to resolve customer issues and we take customer service seriously. I would suggest that all is not lost, and we can still resolve your issue. I just would like to say PreFer auto parts are the BEST on earth. I was looking for a LS 430 03 *********** all over the NetI filled out one for prefer months backs. BOOM. Out the blue I get a text from *********** stating he has a Ls430 02 motor $999.00 ****** miles.this is what made me a Forever customer service of a great representative in *********** he didnt have to reach out to a guy in dalllas ***** looking for a great motor????? Him going the extra mile well states got his company a sale. The motor came looks amazing getting installed asap. *********** just saying ***** by other people commented on or bout u speaks volumes .. promotion is needed Please dont forget to look out for my nephew ************************** qb incoming freshman. ***** ****.
