This company came out to our home to do an inspection on our furnace which we pay for a monthly. $120 annually. The technician lied and said we had a crack in our heat exchanger, and we had a CO2/carbon monoxide was in our home with dangerous levels he shut down our furnace and tagged it. and said we needed a new furnace ASAP.. We contacted another company(which they had no knowledge that his company was over at our home) and they stated there was no crack in our heat exchanger and there was no CO2 coming into our home.We contacted the ******************* police and fire department to come out and check the CO2 levels in our home zero was indicated by the other company and zero was indicated by the fire department.. We demanding a full refund for all the heaters purchased , along with electric bills for the increased amount of electricity, from all these space heaters charge per day all over our home for three days in addition to the refund of the plan that we purchased through them for the year. Gasoline reimbursement to/from the location where we purchased the heater from. This company committed fraud at the highest level and misrepresented the service we paid for. In addition to the technician was extremely rude and disrespectful, which this was the least of our worries. Once we find out they were fraudulently trying to rip us off.. They shut our furnace down the middle of the winter with children and pets and parents. Please assist us in getting her money refunded. This should not be tolerated in the community. seniors and vulnerable citizens are at risk.Business response

We are aware of the complaint alleged by an area resident . During the visit, ************** discovered two visible cracks in the heat exchanger. Per company policy, the technician documented the cracks in the heat exchanger of the furnace with pictures, noted the cracks, and tagged the furnace as a safety hazard.
C&C Heating and Air Conditioning places customer safety first and strictly abides by the ************************ policy that states any visible crack or hole discovered is reason for requiring the replacement of the heat exchanger or furnace. Out of an abundance of caution for our customer, ************** shut off the furnace at the furnace switch so the homeowner would not be potentially exposed to the byproducts of combustion, which may include carbon monoxide.Customer response

**************************************This Company stated there were cracks on the heat exchange and dangerous levels of carbon monoxide in our home.The tech lied and shout down our furnace. Why are no cracks and zero carpet monoxide in our home?? Are they saying the other companies and out local fire department, and our carbon monoxide detector are all wrong and furnace has ran perfectly fine. Are you refunding our monies spent due to their fraudulent info given.
