I was previously a tenant at a rental location in Michigan. My contract ended and my last month at the location was July of 2023. It has now been over 3 months since I've left and still have not received my down payment back. I contacted the property manager ***************** and the assistant ***** via email and phone call multiple times. On September 26'th (2 months after leaving), they finally let me know (via email) that they would be mailing my deposit check to me. I have yet to receive it. It has been 1.5 months since then and I have not been able to reach any employees at all. They have not answered any of my emails, calls, or voicemails. I stopped by the office in ******* during business hours and no one answered the door. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. The lack of communication has been an ongoing issue for my entire tenancy at the location. I would like my deposit back and in the future there needs to be a change in how this company handles communication with tenants.Initial Complaint

Since we have signed up with Renter's Warehouse to assist in managing our property in ***********************, Michigan we have had nothing but horrible communication. Renter's Warehouse is the worst property management company I have ever dealt with, it is literally impossible for someone to call you back. I have been trying to contact this company for over a month for assistance with my property but no response. I live out of state so it is extremely frustrating not to be able to reach a human to discuss my concerns about the property that they are managing for me. The company has no problem taking their payment monthly but WILL NEVER CALL YOU BACK!!!Business response

We have Renters warehouse manage a rental property for us. We have not received our rent payment yet for the month of September. My online portal shows it was paid to them and they sent it but we have not received it yet. Usually we get it by the 10th of the month. I have called and emailed every day for 5 days. ***************** used to manage it and responded quickly with any issues. He is now gone and I cant get anyone to reach out. ***** has even tried contacting them with no responses.Customer response

Yes they did finally contact me so I could terminate our agreement. Thank you.
