      My folks who had a low modest income was sold this nursing home insurance. The insurance would not cover for 3 months, then would only cover $100 per day. In which we would still have to pay the premium while in nursing home. They spent $47,776.08 will not receive a dime. It would take them 9.5 years to get the ******* benefit they were told they had per person. There was no cash out policy even for a fraction of what they had put in. The paperwork to even reach this conclusion was ridiculous to do. I hope others do not use this company.

      I tried to close out my account with **********************. I have been going back and forth with them for 10 days now and still do nt have my money. They have sent out 4 checks already and ALL FOUR HAVE BEEN WRONG! It seems that they just do not want to allow me to close out the account. I have spoken with two managers aside from the 5 different agents, but it is still not right. Please heed my advice, choose another investment company. They are simply incompetent.

      When I called, the ** asked me multiple questions before transferring me to another person. She asked me more questions many of them repetitive of those the ** asked. This was no different than other businesses. My question about cashing out my policy were answered quickly. The customer service representative would mail out a form for me to mail back at the time of my choosing; my monthly payments would be stopped at the appropiate time and a check for the cash surrender value would then be mailed to me, The customer representative, ****, was very professional and succinct.

      My mom paid every month on her policy for over 10 years. EVERY MONTH without fail. Yet now that she has passed away, they are fighting me over her 10k policy. Not 10 million or 100K, only 10K. At $23 a month for 10 years that policy cost her $276 a year or $2760. So, in reality they are fighting me over $7240. I have sent in her death certificate, her will, and an Affidavit of a ************* Yet I had to pay for her funeral expenses out of my own account! Thats what life insurance is responsible for. So, the family/survivors do not have to pay out of their own pockets.

      I took a 20 year Term Life Insurance policy from Valley Forge/CNA who was purchased by Jackson National. My policy had a Return of Premium rider. The 20 years has passed (September 2023), Im still alive and requested my return of premium. They didnt return it. I requested my return while the policy was in force. They insisted I must request the return in writing. They would not email the form or fax it to me. They say they sent it to the wrong address. I eventually got the form and returned it. In the meantime, I stopped the policy due to the rate going from $62 a month to $708 per month. They say they will not return anything due to the policy not being in force because It ended in February 2024. They have admitted they have phone records and documentation that I requested the refund as far back as September of 2023. I will be speaking to an Attorney and filing a complaint with the ** Department of Insurance. Buyer beware with this company.

      I am the *** and Fiduciary for my sister-in-law. I hold Federal and NC State licenses, and I am author of ***-FAA CT91-21, and 4 US Patents. In the past 50 years I have never seen such total disregard for respect of the dying. This stupid ignorant company expects my sister-in-laws signature, on her death bed, to match the initial policy signature in order to change beneficiary from her dead parents to her desired living beneficiary. This company is a joke. Their telephone AI is dumb, their inability to answer a simple direct question to a legally certified *** (Statutory and Durable ***) is demonstration of some kind of coverup. I am fully expecting this organization to find a way to keep all monies after my sister-in-laws death.

      If I could give Jackson Nat'l Life Insurance zero stars, I would. They have the absolute worst customer service, and are so inconsistent and uncommunicative that I lost a 36-year-old $75,000 policy. Do not go with this company under any circumstances.

      After 76 years in life and business, we have to post that our customer assistance experience with trying to make a payment that is due in just a couple of days, was the worst we have ever experienced. Although haveing been with the company for several decades, my husband was so exasperated with the male representative that he has ended his policy with Jackson and my policy is now in question. Think more than twice in placing any confidence in Jackson National Life Insurance Company.

      I have never done a review on a Company before. But I must warn others of the unethical ways the Jackson Index Annuities work for the retail investor. The annuity that I am talking about is their perspective II. It was advertised to pay a 4% guarantee INCOME for life. And they sell it on that the S&P will always go higher. My annuity has not had any income for two and a half years. They charge you for insurance that is not explained to you and extra fees to pay you your 4% out of your principal. After my fees and Insurance that was not disclosed to me they have lost about ********** of my money in the two and a half years I have owned this investment. About 6 months into it I had an opportunity to sell it. The contract on page 5 says you can change ownership. But Jackson says that you can not sell this Annuity. They never gave me the reason. So I asked my adviser what I should do and he said to stop taking the payments and maybe it will grow. That is when I changed Advisors. I have wrote letters to the *** and all Board members of Jackson Insurance *********** It has been in compliance Department for the last 4 months with very little response. If you are looking for an annuity think twice on a Perspective II from Jackson Ins. ***********
