My name is *********************** and I took my vehicle into Lentz on N Larch to be repaired. By no avail my vehicle was fixed after 2 times attempt. I paid ****** and the problem still exists. In response to your email. On 06/29/2021 a **** Chrysler Sebring VIN ***************** was ****** into Lentz *** located at ******************************************* was ****** in for electrical problems. The vehicle had water intrusion from a convertible top that had been compromised and had soaked modules. As such the windows would not operate until dried-out. The vehicle had to remain in the shop over a weekend. On 08/21/2021 the vehicle returned Lentz found no fuel pressure, they checked for power and ground at the pump. Afterwards, it worked within specs.
The vehicle then returned on 09/08/2021. It was towed in. After it was unloaded from the tow service,it started right up. The customer stated that the car sat and was only driven three times since the fuel pump was installed. They checked the fuel pump for power and ground and pressure was within operating specifications. The shop did find active codes P0121 for throttle position sensor and manifold pressure correlation. They found new parts in each of these locations on the vehicle. Also, P0112 intake low voltage, the conditions indicate the *** may be losing reference signal. Also, P1599 HVAC pressure high condition too. Some if not all of these conditions are proximately caused by the leaking top that we noticed and noted on 06/29/2021. Customer says that she fixed it by taping up the top.
There are many reasons that a older vehicle will not start. However, we will not be responsible for parts and services not done by this retail store, or two, willful neglect of a critical part that impacts other electrical parts that part of the starting process. In short, the customer wants to hold ********************** *** 100 percent responsible even though only a fraction of the vehicle systems was serviced.
I have tried to attach five invoices reprints that details some or the written records of our interactions with the customer. However, this overloads this BBB mail system. In short, we can only offer a warranty within the scope of our work. Willful neglect,abuse or parts or services not performed by Lentz *** are NOT covered.

I took my vehicle to be repaired at Lentz auto repair on North Larch st 2 times due to starting issues. It was diagnosed as needing a fuel pump, however after taking my vehicle twice because was not repaired after paying ****** to company. My vehicle have not been repaired properly. I went in to use this shop and they were supposed to fix the shocks, while there they broke my transmission cable, and charged me to replace it, after they fixed it the owner called and was disrespectful telling me my car was finished, when i went to the store they never begin work on the original problem which was the shocks. After speaking with the owner he got upset and denied to give me my car. i called the police and they made him give me my car after i paid him, the owner refused to take credit or debit from me, and required that i go get cash. NOT only did he waste my time but also the officers. this company not only did not do the work that was initially the problem, but they also Costing me more money for the trans cable they broke.Business response

Mr. G****** D**** had his 2008 Chrysler towed into our store on 08/11/2021 at 1:12 pm. This is on CCT our recording. The reason that it was towed in was that it was needing a transmission shift cable. Therefore, we could not or did not break it as he stated. After extensive research, we determined that the needed part was not available. We offered, to have him obtain a used part, and we would install it for him for labor only. We almost never no this because of liability and policy of workmanship reasons. We did this to help him out. After some time he called and told our manager that he found a used part and that he would have another wheel for the vehicle too so we could move the vehicle off our hoist and bay on Monday morning 8/16/2021. We completed that repair (saved on our CCT recording) and I contacted him several times Monday morning (08/16/2021) asking about the wheel. He gave he indeterminate answers. I needed to have that bar to my next appointment. The first time I saw time he practically threw the wheel at my tech and I said "great, with that the job is now done and you can take your car" He stating immediately becoming abusive with my staff and me saying that I WILL be doing additional work. I said that perhaps he should deal with the store manager that he had dealt with before. He really started losing it and got in my face. I had to lock he out and call the police as he would not leave and he was creating unsafe situation and approaching new customers. He tried to get to me and was pounding on the plate glass saying I will hurt you, will get you etc. All this is recorded. We do not work under threat and the police were told to advise that he is a trespasser. This is a deeply aggressive individual that threatens employees and myself. I have made a complaint already.Customer response
