On April 24, 2025, I purchased front and rear rotors with accompanying front and rear brake pads through ****. The rear rotors fit perfectly but the front rotors would not, giving off high screeching noises and a loud clunking noise when I applied the brakes. After an examination of the rotors it was found that the front rotors were slightly larger than the old rotors they replaced, causing scraping and grinding.I called Detroit Axle about the problem and they said they wanted a statement from the mechanic who installed them. That didn't happen but we agreed that they (Detroit Axle) would send me a return postage label so I could return them. I returned the rotors, even paying a little extra for special packaging so no scratch damage would occur. After they acknowledged receiving the rotors back, I then received a text that my order was closed with no further explanation and no mention of a refund. I only wanted a refund for the rotors; everything else was installed. When I tried to inform ****, they said the same thing, Order Closed with no further explanation. It seems to me that I should have received a refund for the two front rotors (approximately $60). The only recourse left to me is to file a complaint against Detroit Axle and perhaps **** as well since they both guarantee the parts to fit.

I ordered my parts on July 7th they took my money and they promised me my parts by the 11th wich is two days after there 2 day delivery and i still have not received my parts and it is now the 12th. They have hung up on me multiple times and have refused to refund me my money or send me my parts. They told me that a manager would call me and i have not received a phone call or anything from the company. They make me sick. How are they allowed to stay in business. By robbing people blind. Ordered a brake kit on **** from Detroit Axle after receiving kit I contacted Detroit Axle about a fitting issue, front pads didnt match contact surface on the rotor, sales representative assured me that I had the correct rotors. I painted rotors and installed them after weather conditions improved here in *******, a few weeks later. After installing, I did an inspection and found rotors was not correct. I contacted sales again at Detroit Axle and was again told that I had the correct rotors. Only after a disagreement and a picture to them and a **************************************************************************** and since they were installed they would not warranty rotors for replacement, I feel that there is a safety factor involved and they should have been more willing to work with me. I then tried to file a complaint with ****, they were not willing to work with me because I had contact Detroit Axle before contacting **** however Detroit Axle assured me over and over that I had the correct parts?

I purchased a power steering pump off ***********, the vendor was Detroit axle. Once I had the part put on, I had to take it back the next day and was told the part was bad. I contacted ******* who told me ( I have the recorded phone call) that I would receive a replacement within 6 days and that I would need to return the other with the label that came with the replacement. Detroit axle then responded and asked for pictures but the part was still on my car and they then said I would have to return it first, so I went to ******** purchased a new one that worked I might add and took the other back to *******. Now the mechanic left the old reservoir attached to there part and I didn't know how to get it off, and the cashier said it was fine and I received a invoice which shows the date of the return within their time frame. Now there saying it's not there part, my guess is because it has the reservoir and I failed to return it during there time frame which is untrue and I can show that. These scammers have refused to return my money. They have there part and I want my money. I should have read the reviews first before purchasing, I see I'm not the first ****** they have done this too and probably won't be the last

I needed the left front axel for my jeep my son ordered it from Detroit axel on April 5. When we tried to put it in it was the wrong part and it was broken we returned Both axel's to Detroit Axel. They told me they can find the bad axel but cannot find the good one and therefore can't refund me for the good axel they cannot find. They also charged a restocking fee for the bad axel. Now if the axel is broken how can it be restocked. I have been calling them sense 5/23/2025 to get it refunded and always get the same answer "we can't find the axel". I have the receipt from sending both parts back and am still waiting on a refund of $100.00. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever encountered all over $100.00. Which should have been refunded without me having to call them back to begin with, but no in order to get a refund you have to call them.I have spoken to multiple individuals in their customer service department with no resolve I went so far as to ask for a manager call back which has not happened either. This is just a company trying to take advantage of their customers! Therefore I believe they owe me for the Axel they lost as well as the restocking fee.

I ordered a cv axel for my car on 1/31/2025 and it was the wrong one. Order number *******. I sent it back on 2/6/2025 tracking number ************. I called once a week for a month for them to tell me it hasnt been inspected so they could not refund me. I also told them I had to give them my new debit card number because the one I used to place my order got hacked and they stated they cant do that. They also stated they would send my refund to the old card and the bank would deposit it. Called the bank and they said they cant do that. So here its is June 20th 2025 never received a refund. Also my bank stated if I could get what they said in writing they would open a fraud case so when I did a chat online they told me to call the number. I thought maybe they would send a check or reach out but nothing.

I placed an order on 06/09/2025 at 6:37 PM CT (after Detroit Axle's business hours I believe). Shortly after, I realized I ordered parts from the wrong store. I called Detroit Axle as soon as they opened the next day two minutes after they opened (7:02 AM). I was assured by the customer service agent that the order was cancelled. I called again Thursday, 06/12 at 7:05 AM asking why the order processed and it was being shipped to my house. At one point in those two calls, I was assured it would show cancelled 48 hours later. In transit i made several contacts with Detroit Axle and i was told we had to wait for delivery. I left notes refusing the package for ***** where now the package is stuck in ******, IL FexEx facility. I have several messages with Detroit Axle saying they will honor the refund but shipping fees may apply. I refused this due to the fact that I tried honestly to get the cancellation in as early as possible to avoid the process moving forward. They have agreed to a full refund after they receive and can ensure the parts are not damaged. I made clear that I am not seeking an exchange as stated in the ******** this point, I am stuck with Detroit Axle saying they will refund once they receive the package and ***** is saying the shipper must contact them to receive the package back. It feels like Detroit Axle is holding my $164.98 hostage.

We appreciate the customer for bringing this to our attention and apologize for any inconvenience. Upon further investigation of this order, it seems that ***** lost the package. Such cases require some time and a thorough investigation of your package. However, I can see that the customer has been in contact with us, and our team issued a full refund for this order on 07/02/25. We will ensure that this process is expedited in the future. Purchased incorrect vehicle part on May 9th, 2025. Realized The part that was missing ABS sensor, Came as a set with lower ball joints. When I reached out to get the return shipping label. Took over a Week to reach back out to me just with the label attached nothing else. Then when they received the parts they said I only sent back half the order, I sent back the complete original order, Now calling me a Liar. Anyone would be upset knowing they sent back the correct package and the business is calling you a liar. They Never notified me of any missing products on their end, Never told me I would be receiving a partial refund. Every time you call the ************ number they have you on hold of an extensive amount of time, Pick up the phone and hang up. It's extremely difficult to get a hold of ANY rep. *** sure why they put in applications to places they DON'T want to work at. Very disappointed that i'm being robbed by a business. I did everything right on my end, It's only right they do the same.

On June 12th 2025 - I placed an order for a brake kit totally $196 and some change. Their website says on the top fast 2 day shipping on the top of the site. I am located in the same state as DA. ***************. I was provided a tracking number finally on the 16th and all it still says is label created. It is now the 19th, still no parts. I have missed countless life events due to a non drivable vehicle. Dont advertise something you cannot and are not fulfilling. Complete shame. Not happy. Stay away l!

I had purchased two products from this business 4/24/2025 Two products that totaled ******. It was not advertised that products only fit 4 wheel drive and that specifications of the truck were put in the website and those parts would be compatible. We got the parts and found on 5/1/2025, the parts were not compatible. They were never in use or used. We contacted customer support on 5/1/2025 and the agent was told they were not a fit, and stated everything Detroit Axel sold is for 4 wheel vehicles only. Customer agent knew the parts were not a fit, knew they could not be in use or used sent a return label and stated return for a refund since we were in the window. I reached out back for refund status on 6/15/25 and the customer service agent stated I would not be getting a refund and the better part of it all is the parts were destroyed and tossed out. How does a business conduct that way? I was told to return products and now the property I bought was tossed out like that? Horrible way to conduct business and misleading.
