Got my oil changed at Serra **** in Farmington Hills, MI on 12-21-2022. The estimate for the oil change was $69. I got my oil changed for $49 at the same dealership on 12-21-2021 when the dealership was then *******************. I went in to talk to the Service Manager (name withheld to conform to BBB customer reviews) about the increase in cost of an oil change since last year. He explained everything has gone up (labor, filter, oil) and that other dealers were charging more. I told him nothing has gone up by 40% except maybe eggs because of the avian flu outbreak in chickens. I also said that gas is less now than it was a year ago. **** and Serra are just using the ongoing inflation to price ***** their customers. I can understand a 10%, or at most a 20% increase in price over last year but 40% is just plain price gouging. Shameful.A.R.

I drove 30 minutes from Waterford, ** just to come to this dealership. I once worked for Enterprise in **** and would pick up clients from this location all the time. So I went there due to being somewhat familiar with the location. The concierge was great and this morning I had the pleasure of working with a ***************************** in the used vehicles department. He was very pleasant, informative and accommodating. I definitely was going to purchase the **** Fusion I test drove. But while speaking to **************** had an emergency call that I had to make and ultimately I needed to leave. I started my van to let it warm up and upon finishing my call and needing to leave a semi delivery truck blocks me in. I hit my horn once and he ignored me. So I roll down my window and asked the trucker to please let me out. He ignored me again. Someone came to the drivers window and they held a conversation. While I'm hitting my horn asking to be let out. Someone from inside the building comes out and rudely yells "He's going to move, wait a minute!" Instead of coming outside and being rude, it would have been considerate to ask was everything ok, because it wasn't. I have a younger employee that needed to be relieved asap due to a true family emergency and I needed to leave so that they could get to their father ****. Between being blocked in, being ignored then chastised as if I was a unreasonable child I've decided not to purchase the **** Fusion that I test drove today and I'd rather shop at another dealership where I don't have to worry about being disregarded or disrespected.
