Worst closing experience ever!! Scheduled for remote notary closing, they were unable to complete due to server issue. Sent in person notary, loan closed. On day of disbursement only to be told we had to reclose due to missing documents. Why did it takes 4 days to review our documents to tell us!Review from caroline d

My Amrock appraiser showed up while it was raining. I kid you not, she walked right pass the door mat into my house with wet shoes, there was grass and dirt on her shoes from walking around the house. She didnt brush her shoes, didnt have a shoe cover, just real nasty way of disrespecting someones home.. I have Plush white rug in my master bedroom, do you know she stepped on it .. by now i just wanted her gone.. i held my tongue because i fear she s**** me on the appraisal.. tough luck, she did anyway, she used comps 4 + miles away and my neighborhood is hot, she depreciated my house by the age of the subdivision 2012 when my C/O was issued 2018, she ignored some appliances, no mention, when i got it and tell her she made a mistake, she said take it up with your lender. Horrible.. Deal breaker for me. I did tell the lender the AMROCK reviews was horrible and they had 1 star so its a deal breaker.. Ill give the initials of my appraiser it is CMJ.. stay clear, if you read this, carry a shoe cover for your next appraisal or take off your **** shoes.. I should have followed my mind and tell you to get out after you walk in with your shoe the way you did.Amrock Inc. Response

Awful company. They made an error on an *** appraisal order by performing the *** appraisal without using the correct form, and then tried to pass it off as an *** appraisal. Completely unhelpful in trying to fix the error that their appraiser, *********************, made. Stay away from this company at all cost. It could cost you any transaction youre trying to close.Review from Suzanne C

All they had to do was wire my money.I gave all the correct information and it still went to the wrong bank!Going on three weeks to do a wire recall?Im a kidney transplant patient trying to get my meds and stay out of a homeless shelter! Just bad business!Amrock Inc. Response

Gratefully appreciate it but this is this exact same message Ive been getting for three weeks. No excuse a wire recall should not take this long. If I gave all the correct information why isnt amrock covering this and collect your money in the back end?Review from Sarah S

Do not work with Rocket Mortgage and/or Amrock, we most certainly will not be working with them ever again. We did a refinance with them last year, and they sent us a refund check after it was said and done, which seemed odd. I called them to verify that it wasnt supposed to be in our escrow account, which they assured us it wasnt. Fast forward a year, and now they say that our escrow account does not have enough in it to pay our yearly taxes. Conveniently, in roughly the amount of the refund check that we were mailed a year prior. Subsequently, an escrow analysis was done, which increased our mortgage 50 dollars a month to make up for the deficit. After multiple phone calls with multiple people, we were told in short form, sorry we screwed up, but we arent going to correct it. All we were looking for was for them to correct the deficit in our escrow account, and bring our mortgage back to where it should be, which they refuse to do. The ************ we were given was give them the money back to be deposited into the escrow account, or deal with the increased mortgage payment.Review from Chris H

We purchased a house from a family member in July 2021 using Rocket and Amrock. Well we decided to do a refi in April of this year. On the Rocket side everything went ok. Amrock however, never changed the title / deed to my name. It was still in the previous owner. We closed the refi on April 29 2022 and was under the impression everything was fine. It wasn't until I started calling a week later when I noticed my previous mortgage had not been paid yet. Numerous calls to Amrock yielded either no return call or "I don't know" It took Amrock 14 days to determine that a document was missing. This document needed to be sent literally 40 miles from my house and had I know I could have driven down there with it. Instead Amrock's lack of concern yielded it being sent via overnight mail. The worst customer service EVER! I would certainly ask when you're financing who the title company will be. If it's Amrock, STAY AWAY!!!!Review from Daniel P

I dealt with a gentleman name Tye. PROFESSIONAL with personality who treated me as I was his only customer. He kept ** me informed with email - after he introduced himself - and answered the phone the first ring when I called him with a question and a little more of a explanation that one cant do through email. He told there should be no problem with my copy of my POA (which is all I had) and that there was a new law in ********** that made it easier in ********** to refi my home which I knew nothing about. It was GREAT customer service!Review from john k
