my husband and myself paid $142 for a one night stay at the hotel. Upon getting the key we left to get something to eat before we went to the room. We walked up the stairs to be met by a man sitting on the stairs talking to himself and looking like he was on drugs. We entered the room and it was horrible. The bed was old and made noise, all of the dresser were worn down to another part of the wood, the television was very small and we had to call to ask where the remote was only to be told that we had to come and get it. To top that off there were roaches in the room. We were inform by ****** who said she was the manager that there were no refunds period. We were very very disappointed and disgusted with this hotel, the room and the hospitality that we did not recieve. I paid $143.00 for the room that is shown in this picture......UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!Business response

It is with great concern and regret we received your email outlining the problems you had with our hotel with your recent stay.
First and foremost, on behalf of Rivertown Inn & Suites Hotel, I would like to personally apologize for your inconvenience. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
I spoke with **** ******** on 7/26/21 at 2:05 pm and informed her that I was going to issue a full refund back to the Master Card ending in **** for the amount of $142.75.
Again, I want to thank you for your assistance. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Hopefully, we’ll have another opportunity to serve you in the near future.
