      Do NOT use their card.They are shdy with holding parents arbritailly and once you call, you get 5 different explanations. I was accused of fraud for paying off my balance every month. This is getting ridiculous.

      recently paid off my balance of $1294 with ********* credit card, accidently on Nov. 4th. I requested a reversal as this accidental transaction was financially devistated me at the time. I immediately called and the representative said they could not reverse the transaction. **************** requested a refund via a check in the mail on Nov. 14th. As of the 25th, I have not recieved the check. However, ********* has put the entire balance back on my statement, charged me a $40 fee and new payment due including interest. Today is Nov 25th, and I therefore request a stop payment on the check they supposedly sent me, and they refused. So, I am out $1294 for the payoff that I made on Nov 4th, and they put this charge back on my statement before I have a check from them. Today, **************** Supervisor, ******** (#VD1) and ***** (LI2) in ******** were argumentative in their tone, did not hear my concern, and refused to let me speak with a supervisor above their position to help cancel the check. I even told them I wanted to cancel my account. The two above mentioned supervisors continued to reitterate that the cancellation request has been denied. I am out $1294 and I still do not have a payment back from this company.

      I bounced a check once when going through a divorce and now they really dont want me to pay my bills so they can charge a lot of fees. They said I cant do it by check or debit card unless Im late! They seem to have very corrupt and tricky rules.

      I have spent multiple hours trying to speak with the fraud department of Ally and as far as I could get was a customer service supervisor who would NOT let me speak with the fraud department. Her name was *******. I wanted to file a fraudulent claim on an application due to them checking my credit. This is now on my credit report and they (Ally) say they don't have a fraud department. I'm confused because all other credit card companies have fraud departments that can mark the application as fraud so that the credit union can see and remove from my report.

      I had a payment to ally rejected 4 months ago. I still have not recieved the funds back. Allegedly they do EVERYTHING by check. So instead of bouncing my electronic payment back, they mailed a check 2 months later. Problem is that they mailed the check to an address that doesn't exist. I just want my money back. It takes forever to get a supervisor and when they call back, IF they call back they leave a vague message and put notes in your account that they left a detailed message. The payment should have been back in my account within 10 business days, like with any other company. Yet here we are 4 months later on hold for ages to explain the same issue for the 10th time to someone who won't understand it or be able/ willing to help. At what point is it theft? Don't get a card with them.

      Attempted to purchase a laptop; the company (whom I've purchased from before) called up my credit card as standard operating procedure to verify (to prevent fraud). My card was closed with no notice to me. I called; was told something about 'power of attorney' was exercised. Called the next day and sure enough it was just the laptop company verifying the card.**** calling and being told a manager will look at it. That it's being 'expedited'. To check back Friday. Was told Friday that it can *********** days. So the time span for my card being opened again and looked at kept growing longer and longer.I had to request the card to be opened, because according to the representative that wasn't even on the file. Just a lot of waiting. A lot of 'the manager will look at it in 5 days'. If you ever have to deal with customer service and it isn't something extremely simple it's h***

      I do not recommend Ally credit card or any ********* services. They left me with fraudulent charges to pay for and allowed further charges from the same place to go through even after changing the card number. They treated me like I was scamming them although I used the card for very valid purchases and paid off. As soon as my car is paid off, I will be removing my **** ******** Credit Card and all other aspects of my finances maintained through Ally.

      Inadvertently made an overpayment to my ALLY credit card in November 2023. It is now January **** and have NOT received my $720 refund mailed to me. Many promises and countless phone calls made. Wow!What a horrible company & horrible customer service! They even treat me as if I am a scam artist! NEVER trust this bank.

      I attempted to make a purchase at Best Buy today and my card was declined despite having well over the needed amount available. When I called, I was told there was a block on my card, and was transferred to a security department, who verified the amount of the purchase I attempted, my phone number, the last four digits of my SS#, and the last four digits of the bank account from which I made my most recent payment. Despite providing all of this information, I was told that the card could not be unblocked until I provided a letter from my bank verifying that I had the right to make payments from my bank account because it's different than the account from which previous payments were made. I explained that I'm recently divorced, and had to open a new account for myself because my ex-wife kept our joint account. The representative would not budge on unblocking the account and I had to use my debit card to buy the clothes dryer I was purchasing for my new home, which leaves my budget stretched very thin for the rest of the month. As a result of this, I will not be doing further business with ****. I understand that policies are in place to protect consumers, but this was extremely overzealous and should have been handled better.
