11 months of being eaten alive from bedbugs, and no action to get rid of the bugs . The entire building is infested with bedbugs. When we reported the problem to the pest control people we was immediately retaliated against with a eviction. Highly legal to do that here in the state of Maine.

Bedbugs are very unpleasant and invasive to health and comfort. We are sorry you, or any of our tenants, get them! Central Maine Property Management always has Pest Control treat promptly when pests are reported. Unfortunately, we did not take management of this building until December 2023 and bedbugs were well established. The condition was not immediately made known to us, but once known, we scheduled. In February our records show pest control reported, "unit ...(your unit) - this unit has a severe sanitation issue. This must be addressed before we can treat. It is impossible to move in this unit. Bed bugs." In March pest control reported, " unit ... Tenants would not let me in said they have no issues." You are correct in saying (or meant to say), It is highly illegal to evict for retaliation. We would never do that. However, it is very legal to evict when tenants have not paid rent for many months, even prior to our management.Review from Peter S

You have a pleasant and professional team, caring about not only the owners of properties, but each individual living in each unit. Your attention to detail is impressive and your response time is reasonable and better than expected. *** is right, in how, over time the outcome is impressive and goals achievable I would encourage all owners who are not happy with existing management, those maybe on the fence, and any looking for property management in ************, Auburn, and surrounding areas, to make the necessary change/move and sign on with CMPM, a company that will truly help you to achieve your financial goals. They have no care for their tenants. I know they try everything they can do. But when an apartment is 33 degrees for 48 hours. And you are told their is nothing they can do. Just bundle up and deal with it. There has been multiply request put on to fix some things. And they haven't addressed them and they have been since Nov of 2022. They don't care. Do not rent from them. They **** up prices for little room and no care for your safety or anyone's else.Central Maine Property Management, Inc. Response

We are very sorry you were cold in your apartment. When any of our buildings lose heat we work diligently to get the heat working as soon as possible! Unfortunately, our recordbreaking low temperatures in February 2023 caused several of the aged buildings we manage to lose heat. We got individual heaters to tenants asap and the building system working as soon as a heat tech was able. We are a very conscientious Property Management company who cares deeply for our tenants.
