I moved from living in ******* to my new address now back in March of 2021. I have been trying to cancel the gym membership an have gotten no re turn to my calls. I was promised an email regarding a way I can cancel my membership without physically go to the gym. I finally got in touch with the owner after my fianc called and spoke with a staff member. They sent a couple emails regarding certified mail being sent for a cancellation. ***** the owner has yet now three days later to send an email back saying what information I need to provide to cancel the gym membership. I physically cant get down to the gym an cancel the membership. An ***** is refusing to cancel my membership cause of the policy. I didnt know when I moved it would be this awful trying to cancel my membership. Yet he still is take $30 a month from me for a gym I can no longer attend. All I would like to do is get my membership canceled.Business response

At B Fit Norton our policy on cancelations are extremely clear and written in our contract. This way to avoid disputes like this. I want be clear we have never received a call or email from our member *****************. We have been contacted by a stranger to us *******************************. We have no idea her relationship to **** and she can not legally cancel his membership he signed. Attached are her emails by ****** and none from *****************.
I did state 2x in my emails on 08/21 **** just needs to send certified letter asking to cancel.
We make our cancelation policy extremely easy as it's the written on the first page of the contract everyone signs.Customer response
