In November 2021, we hired WaterCraft Basement Solutions to install a sump pump system (2 sump pums) because my basement was flooding. They installed the system, which came with a lifetime warranty, for a total cost of around $16,000. They fixed the water problem inside but since day 1, the outside discharge pipe installation was not done correctly and it's been leaking water all over my landscape and most likely back down into the basement. My pump is running about every 5 minutes so you can imagine how much water has accumulated all over my landscaping and sidewalk. I have called the company in December to raise the concern that the discharge pit was too close to my foundation (about 5 feet) and they said they would call back. It was too cold to dig in the winter so I waited until Spring to call back and have called a few times per week. They keep telling me that *** the owner would call me back but no communication. I would like a call back and have their guys fix my problem they caused. They need to extend the discharge pipe much further away from my foundation so it will drain properly. What good is a warranty if they refuse to call you back.Customer response

We were having water concerns in our basement of the house we own (28 **************** **********, ** *****), but rent to a family with a Section 8 Voucher. We hired Water Craft Basement Solutions to remedy the problem. They stated they would install an additional sump pump which would drain down the hill in the back yard to the *****. They would seal all cracks in the foundation and ensure no water would get into the basement going forward. They also stated they would remove all mold as there was a reading of mold and they would provide us with a mold certificate once complete. They also stated they had to remove insulation in the ceiling, but would replace it. In addition, they would cover all of our tenant's belongings and clean up after the job was complete. It was to take 5 days total. The job was well over 5 days, the workers did not show up when they said they would, the manager, *** was very hard to get a hold of throughout the project, the workers did not cover the tenant's property, they wrote in the dust that fell on the tenant's property as a result of the work, they did not run the drain-off water to the *****, rather it was just feet from the house, they did not replace the insulation they removed from the ceiling and they have not provided a mold certificate. We are trying to get MassSave to install insulation and complete an energy audit, but without the mold certificate they won't be able to. My husband and I have called numerous times and texted with no response. My mom even stopped by the office, but they said they would mail the certificate to us. We have still yet to receive. The cost was $17,500 and to my standards the job is not complete and we did not receive everything we were supposed.
