      We paid ***** Caron about total of $40k to install our generator - it never worked for one day after more than 5 years , 20 times calling him and addition $88k payment . We are told by the new generator guy that it was I installed wrong -

      I have a prepaid maintenance plan with Caron Electric for my generator and one service remaining on that plan to the value of $395. I have left telephone messages and sent emails to the contractor on 30 October and 7 November requesting scheduling of the generator service and have not received a response. I had to contact the BBB in April 2022 for the same unresponsiveness from the contractor. I would like the $395 refunded.

      Hi. Actually Caron Electric did email me on 15 November:

      Thank you for your continued loyalty to Caron Electric, we are always here for your generator and electrical needs. A lot of our 35 years in business has been spent with people like you who value their homes and what systems keep it running. Your Kohler automatic standby generator is a vital part of these systems, especially in ***********. If we installed your generator, or have been maintaining your generator, you know the importance of its annual service. 

      We have started performing the annual maintenances on the generators. As always, we require a signed agreement before we will perform the maintenance. Attached is the 3 or 5 year agreements we have. Please sign one and return with a check to the listed address. 

      You may already have an annual agreement in place, please confirm when you last paid Caron Electric.

      We may have done additional items in the past that have not been invoiced yet, we have had some invoicing problems with our software crashing two years ago and have been rebuilding it by going through technician notes and job tickets.

      I responded on 16 November:

      Hi *****,


      I signed and paid for a 5 year maintenance plan in October 2018 (see attached).


      Maintenance services were carried out in 2018, 2019 and 2020
      No maintenance service was carried out in 2021
      Maintenance service was carried out in Spring 2022
      I therefore still have a maintenance service that I have paid for in 2018 but not received. I would like this service carried out as soon as possible. Thank you.
