We have been owners for many years with this company and their response to our request was absolutely shameful! We were pressured into buying a timeshare as a great investment, easy to use, increase in value, etc. These were all lies. We very kindly contacted the company explaining that we were no longer interested in maintaining an ownership with them. We received a one sentence reply from someone named *******************. This one sentence just said they are currently not offering a deed back/buy back program. She did not offer any other options. No mention of the great investment being of increased value! When we looked online we saw that timeshares have no value. So, after all the years of collecting money for nothing-we were dismissed.Customer response

Since owning this timeshare with Courtyard Resort we have not once been satisfied with it. We were promised a lot of wonderful things regarding vacationing with your company, most of them were false promises. We had someone kind of hammer at us during the presentation about how this would be great, for family vacations, getaways, travel. We told them straight out, we didn't have the money for this. They don't take no for an answer. The representative played a game of price lowering to make it look like this "great deal"! We ended up thinking what a nice idea it would be to have somewhere to take the family every year to vacation. What we thought would be something special to have for our families future turned out to be a costly burden. The destination that we have is not a good place to visit during the time of the year that we have. Everything is closed when we can vacation, which was left out when they were pitching us the sale. This is very frustrating and has led to us no longer using the timeshare to vacation. Of course, we tried to discuss these concerns and our request with them, but they have chosen to not respond to us at this point. We need answers and a way out of this financial nightmare.Customer response

They have not reached out to me directly. I have heard nothing from them.
