              All my transactions from 2017 to 2021 with ********************* has been disappointing. I originally bought 3 motorized shades but it came with missing cords, plugs, remote controls, and wrong type of cables. The remote controls werent programmed in advanced, as advertised, because it was shipped later. I had to reset everything from scratch and there were no instructions from ***** or anyone at North Solar Screen. I had to find other sources for assistance and it took me hours. I had hired a professional contractor for the installation and because of the error in missing parts, the contractor had to come twice and it cost extra hours.Then recently in 2021, I had to replace the fabric on the 3 shades. This is no more than shipping properly sized replacements. But in took them over 2 months. First, they double charged the freight until I complained. Then ***** never contacted me to keep me updated. I always had to contact her to ask for the status of my order. One of her excuse was this got marked as read in my email. After repeated calls and emails from me, the package finally arrived. But the fabrics were cut 20 inches short! Once again, my contractor was here with scaffolding ready to install and we were disappointed again.Aside from the terrible services, I found out a major problem is that ***** and North Solar Screen are only fast sales people at best. It does not seem like they even have an office. They use a supplier in ******* named SW Sun ************* Systems with a husband-and-wife team *** and *****************************. I have no dealings with them but I imagine they are part of the problem with all the errors.I would not recommend them to anyone. I wouldnt have gone back to them in 2021 except it was to replace their screens. And now, after spending money and time, I still have the old broken shades. ****** learned here is to do business with local reputable companies.

              Hi *******, We wholeheartedly apologize for any inconvenience caused throughout your ordering experience. We are all human and unfortunately, mistakes happen. Whats important is how we address them. In our nearly 30 years of doing business, we have always done our best to fix them as quickly as possible and to do right by our customers. Unfortunately, like all other companies, we, have been at the mercy of covid.Regarding your 2017 order: The day you informed us of the missing parts, replacements were sent out through Priority Mail. Since you were already in possession of the motors, the factory could not program the remotes. However, ***** emailed you the link to the programming instructions on our site. She also emailed you all the contact information for ******, the head of our support department, and encouraged you to call him so he could walk you through the process. Three years later, although the motorized shades you bought from us were still working just fine, you decided you would like to change the type of shade fabric (you werent sure to what) and upgrade to our ************ Wind Zipper Track. You ordered 3 test shades to fit your current cable guided roller shade system. This was something we dont normally do so ***** had to clone your 2017 order and manually input the new items. She accidentally forgot to remove the old shipping price on the quotation but as soon as you pointed it, she did. You were never charged for it as it was just a preliminary quote. After receiving the panels, which did arrive within the parameters of the estimated lead time we gave, you reported they had come in too short. We offered a free remake with accelerated turn around time. You refused it. Instead, you demanded a full and immediate refund which we gave you. A few weeks later you reached out again wanting to us make new test shades, but insisted we make them for you at our cost. We said we would be happy to provide you a discount for the inconvenience, but since we had already totally refunded you, we couldnt make them at our cost. That is when you threatened us with bad reviews on every website, which clearly you followed through on. Again, we apologize for any errors made on our part. Its unfortunate you would try to ruin our reputation online because we wouldnt make you shades at our cost. We take great pains to serve our customers with any reasonable requests for years after their initial purchase. Obviously you know our factory makes a great product or you wouldnt choose to buy from us again.
