Sorry if I offend anybody buy I wrote it specifying exactly the coins I had (TPGS/grade assigned) was contacted immediately for a ballpark figure, gave them one and they were professional enough to inform me, with unexpected sensitivity, why they could not meet my expectation, made a credible counter-offer (with wiggle room which I declined to accept, and felt privileged to conclude the sale with no further discussion. They left shipping options open to me, and was amused the check they dispatched immediately, uninsured. (I sent them several encapsulated coins, uninsured, as is my practice. It turns out they and I both used the discreet mail moniker, NE.MY SALE WAS FLAWLESS IN EVERY RESPECT. THEIR CUSTOMEE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. To my knowledge, everything transpired via e-mail, with no talk or personal contact. I shopped around to find a suitable buyer and I am honored to say their simple, down-home, courteous approach, knowledgeability about my coin series and the current market validated my choice. ***/ Northeast Numismatic advertised an 1888 cent graded au53 by ngc grading Company I spoke directly with *** ******** on 4/21/21 and *** processed my credit card. Provided tracking and emailed a receipt to me. *** didnt realize the coin was a special die variety which he missed and the grading company missed. *** canceled my tracking that night , after he was tipped off by a dealer that saw the thread someone posted. ***** from ****************** boosted on Facebook that there friend **** saved them. Facebook post which was posted that day that I have. *** called me the next day and offered me $500 take it or leave it. Refused my offer to split the coins cost. I offered $5000 from my original purchase price as advertised at $49.00. *** refused and said $500 take it or leave it. The check was mailed but never cashed. I contacted two numismatics organizations that *** belongs to. The *** first sided with *** and then changed there mind to let me take the matter to arbitration. The *** was appalled by the dealer and the png siding with *** at first. They will allow me to bring it to arbitration. The bottom line is I paid for a coin off an experienced coin dealer. Credit card was charged , tracking was provided. The dealer then canceled the transaction after he realized he missed the variety. Tried to pay me off to make it right and boost on Facebook about his friend saving him on his mistake. I would like the item I paid for.
