Here at NOLA Second
Line Parades® we plan, permit and produce mini parades known as
“Second Line Parades”.
Our goal is to share our Jazz Music, Heritage and Spirit of New Orleans with our clientele to create a truly unique New Orleans style experience and long lasting memories.
The Second Line Parade is a
tradition that dates back hundreds of years and is unique to New Orleans. It
features a walking brass band that leads the procession and can include
everything from a dancing Grand Marshall with a Second Line Umbrella, Mardi
Gras Indians in full costume and VOO DOO Practitioners.
It is most famous for
allowing party/reception participants to join in the parade, waiving
handkerchiefs and dancing with decorative umbrellas.
Over the past decade this has
become one of the most in demand forms of entertainment for New Orleans
weddings,corporate events, bachelor and bachelorette parties. The Second Line can be done
indoors at reception venues or straight down World Famous Bourbon Street.
As mentioned above, this is
what we do. We do the permitting, planning and production - You do the partying.
Accordingly, we are here to serve as your Entertainment Concierge to insure that your event is a great success.
We are an Accredited Member
of the BBB as well as a member of the local Convention and Visitors Bureau
