      An order was placed on 8-9-21 for 2lbs of alligator meat (order number XXXXXX). The company's website had corrected my address to not include my apartment number, which is not uncommon as some orders placed with other companies do the same, and the item is instead shipped to the front office of my apartment complex where I then pick it up from. In this instance however the item was listed as undeliverable and thus needed correction (UPS tracking number Z2FE398NTXXXXXXX) . Due to this the delivery was delayed one day. When the order arrived at the meat had spoiled, and had only been packaged with a single ice pack. After contacting Louisiana Crawfish via email informing them of the issue I was called and informed the company was assuming no responsibility for their website having made the error, claiming I should have recognized the mistake and reached out to the company personally to correct them, and that their packaging was sufficient. I was told nothing would be done in resolution.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/26) */ This online order for perishable food was received on 8/9/21 with a requested delivery date of 8/11/21. Our website does not edit or change addresses. Once the order is placed the confirmation page is displayed with all order details included the shipping address. This information is also emailed to the customer. The UPS software automatically pulls the address from the order and generates the shipping label. The order was shipped on 8/10/21 via UPS and tracking information was emailed to customer. At 9:54am on 8/11/21 the shipment was marked by UPS as incorrect address/apartment number missing. This information is also emailed to the customer. At this point the recipient has an option to pick up the shipment from UPS. Later on 8/11/21 UPS marks the package as address corrected and was sent back out for delivery the following day 8/12/21. Per our terms and conditions which were approved by customer prior to checkout, we are not responsible for delays with packages beyond our control.
