After stating verbally on a voicemail and in a text chat I scheduled a warranty service for my rims. I arrived to my appointment. At one point Javon stated I had a nail in my tire. I said "patch it". In the past that was done free of charge due to warranty coverage. He replied" no you can get a whole new tire with your warranty coverage". Odd, why not in the past. Received my keys. I am then told I am good to go. A few hours later he is calling stating my warranty was up a couple of months prior. I was responsible for all of the charges. Made no since. Why would I purchase a warranty that would end prior to a lease ending. He then said it was not his job to know theses things ahead of time. He had multiple opportunities to check on the warranty in the 5 hrs it took. I do not think I should have been held responsible. He should have gotten a prior authorization. He had may chances to do so prior to even the appointment. He said I was covered for the new tire. This seems to be an ongoing issue I have had with the service department. A complete lack of communication and responsibility. A true sign that someone is not comfortable or capable of their job.

I had a meeting with the Service Manager and Advisor and I have decided we will reimburse Miss **** for the repairs. 

We will mail her a check for the amount of the repairs.
