Inquired about purchasing a new vehicle on May 23, 2022. I was informed by Dameyon ****** a salesman at Service Chevrolet, that the vehicle I was interested in was "in transit" and to be delivered on the 25th of May. I then asked if I could put a deposit on the vehicle and did, in the amount of $1000. I was sent a receipt for $1000 for a credit card charge with no explanation of what the transaction was for. I was also sent a picture of the window sticker of the vehicle. On the morning of the 25th I contacted Mr. ***** to see if the vehicle had arrived. It had not and I was told it would be in by the end of the week. I then contacted Mr ***** again on the 27th and was told now it would be 30th. I then contacted Mr ***** on the 30th and was told it was on the truck "to be delivered". I then contacted Mr ***** on the 31st at 1:37 pm and didn't get a response until 6:30 pm stating it will be here "first thing in the morning". Ironically at the time Mr ***** finally contacted me I was at another dealership completing the purchase of a new vehicle. I requested my deposit back and was refused. I was never provided documentation regarding the refund policy or a "sales contract" or a "purchase order".Business response
