I called Zeigler Tree Company for an estimate to remove a tree. ***** was dispatched and came out in May for the initial quote. He had a large truck, and when he left my driveway, he ran over my reflectors and PVC stable bars holding said reflectors. I called him immediately to come back. He said rather than coming back, to send pictures and he would pay for it.On three separate occasions, I sent an invoice, pictures and email. I followed up and spoke with ******, ******* and someone else in the office, all on different occasions and all claiming that either they received the pictures without an email explaining my situation or received emails and not having pictures to support my claim, and on and on and on. At my final follow up call, I was told to come, drive 40 miles and pick up a $46 check, which I then stated: Cant you just put it in the mail so we can get this over with?To date, I still have not received the $46.23 owed. Even though they may be a reputable company, what they have displayed is poor quality when it does not go their way. In fact, when Hurricane *** hit, they could have cashed in on an over $10,000 job, which another one of their competitors received from me due to trees falling, having to be cut, and to be removed.

Per ***** Zeigler, Vice President of Zeigler Tree,  we have had a check ready at our office at the front desk for  months. We asked **************** to come by and pick up the check which he failed to do. This "damage" was addressed immediately. It is our policy to not use the mail for checks. As a rule of thumb We also go out and pick up our checks from our clients. We will go against our policy and reissue a check, since it has expired for **************** and put it in the mail. All **************** had to do was contact our office and ask ** to mail the check. We had not heard another word from him until now. In conclusion the cost of the  replacement parts was $19.30 and he wanted $25.00 for his "labor" which we did not dispute. The lack of communication and having to go to this extreme was totally not necessary. Today Check #**** will be put in the mail addressed to *********************, *****************************************. Zeigler Tree considers this dispute settled.
